A rare print by surrealist print maker Ozaku Seishi, professor emeritus from Tama Art University. He is best known for small edition prints, usually up to 30 copies, limitless experimentation with printing techniques and surrealist, often graphic imagery resembling distorted reality ¬neither quite explicit nor quite horror, but rendering a fairly dark version of dreams. In 1971 Haku Maki produced two large prints, one Sun and one Moon. Sun shows a dramatic sun with a red dash all surrounded by a gold field-- Poem 71-100. Poem 72-101 is Moon with a similar design. There is a dark spot in the center. Each print was produced in editions of 156. This pair was offered privately and on eBay by a very insightful seller from Tennessee. Charles F. Daubigny, French, 1817-1878, "Le Gue," Etching and drypoint, image size 9 7/8 x 13 3/8 inches, 1865, IV/V, Melot D.118, printed at bottom margin "Daubigny Sculp." l.l., "Sarazin imp. Paris" l.r. and titled "Le Gue" l.c., framed. This was Daubignys' third contribution to the "Societe des Aquafortistes", also exhibited at the Exposition Universelle", the world's fair of 1867.

Daniel Tretiak chose to number this note 32, with no explanation of why there were no other notes between 28 and this one. In this note he focused on Poem J, a 1966 print that had just emerged (in 2019).

Scarce Currier and Ives lithograph print, sheet size 11" by 15", image area 8 1/2" by 12 3/8", titled "Prairie Hens". This is apparently a scarcer small folio image, as Cohenour prices it over $400 in his Currier price guide. The print is in acceptable condition, with the image area generally clean, and only one tiny spot of foxing visible, although there is a diagonal light crease at upper right corner, visible only when viewed in raking light...

A circa 1960's or 1970's lithograph of two female figures, in the typically dream-like fantasy style of the noted 20th century artist LEONOR FINI (1907-1996).
