From our Southeast Asia Collection, a large and very attractive Indonesian tribal mask, crafted from a dark hardwood we think is either teak or some other rosewood variant, inlaid with mother of pearl or shell. They craft a lot of masks in different versions in Bali, but the more frequently encountered version you see there is a much smaller but heavily painted multicolor style, that we tend to find a bit gaudy...

Dramatic in size and design, this silver pendant features elaborate wire wrapping, with 5 gemstones entwined in the design. It measures just under 4" high, 2 3/8" wide, and is heavy. Tests for sterling, but we did not test the gold colored wire, so it may be gold filled, though the thin wire is more likely gold. This molded and carved resin purse by American designer Maya is, as usual, a work of art! To enhance the purse Maya uses brown quartz, lemon quartz, piwa pearls and crystal chips and a gold plated chain. As with most of her purses, the 45" chain is removable and may be worn as a necklace or belt. Purse is 6 3/4" wide, 5" high and 2 1/2" deep.
