This is one of the prettier of Tiffany's pastel pieces. This compote, measuring 5 1/8" tall x 6 3/4" diameter at top, is made in a bright, vibrant yellow at the edge of the top. The rest of the dish part is clear, with opalescent white stars. It is just beautiful. Signed on bottom, this piece is in perfect condition and definitely a collector's item.

An antique green glazed porcelain bottle vase with the glaze stopping just below the top rim revealing an all over ge-type crackle with dark grey (iron wire) and gold (golden thread) crackle. The base rim unglazed with the base revealing the same ge-type crackle. Unmarked.

Measurements are the center screen is 36" wide and 31" high the end panels measure 15" wide and 31" high so opened completely the size is 66" wide and 31" high. The height to the top of the handles is 34".

Chinese Shiwan (Shekwan) pottery model of a Daoist Immortal, holding a fan and seated on a large gourd. The figure resembles Li Tieguai, who ordinarily is depicted with his staff and often carrying a gourd which was believed to contain medicine powerful enough to revive the dead. The figure holds a fan, the main attribute of the immortal Zhongli Quan (Han Zhongli). The fan is believed to have the power to revive the dead. Perhaps the figure is an amalgam of the two immortals...

Head of funerary statue or effigy, of minimalist shape. Weathered wood, with shell eyes. Indonesia, South Sulawesi, Toraja Peoples. Height: 12" (30 cm). The head is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Very good condition. NOTE 1: The Toraja have this particularly interesting tradition of carving in wood funerary images of the deceased. These figures are kept in galleries or balconies beside the coffins in which high-ranking or noble or wealthy people are buried...

Japanese early 20th century earthenware teapot by SASAKI NIROKU. The wonderful teapot has a Chinese landscape design carved into the side. The teapot measures 5 1/4" wide, 4 3/4" tall and 5" deep.

An exquisite set of small petaled-plates, each wafer thin, with a floral spray of yagiku (wild chrysanthemum) in a blue dial in the center by Suwa Sozan II enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Kiku-gata Kozara, Jukyaku (10 Chrysanthemum Shaped Small Dishes) dating from the 1920s. The design is Japanese, the decoration is strongly influenced by Korean wares. Each is 9 cm (3-1/2 inches) diameter and all are in excellent condition...

Gentleman's wooden walking stick with a carved antler handle of an adorable little bobtail monkey, sitting upon an ocean cliffside and clutching a shell. There are various seashells carved around the monkey, including one with a hermit crab peeking its head out. Very precisely carved. Rare antique Seto ware teabowl made by Japanese potter Kato Bakutai (1861-1943) decorated with elegant horse and the calligraphy describing the First Firing of the year. The mark of the potter is stamped at the bottom.

Kato Bakutai was a prominent potter who initially worked under Kato Shuntai (1802-1877) being responsible for revival of Seto ware techniques in Japan in the 19th century...

Large folk art hooked cotton rug of a maroon horse outlined in black and with black hooves and tail trotting to the left against a tan ground with maroon corners and blue bands to enclose the horse. Some of the ground hooked in squares of different shades. Dots of brown for nose, eye and in the tail. 22 by 35 inches.

This American sterling silver baby food pusher is small scale and perfect for a baby's tiny fingers. The handle is monogrammed with an A inside a half wreath pattern, inside base of handle stamped with maker's mark, 925 and STERLING, engraved with the date 1927 on upper part of handle, The pusher is arched with scalloped sides.
