A large well rendered bronze rhinosaurus of an African white rhino. This realistic rhino has heavily textured skin, wrinkles and folds at its neck and legs, and its tail is contoured around the back leg. In excellent condition, it measures 18.5" long, 8.25" high, 6.25" wide.

Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. The transparent topaz color pictured here was only made in 1935-6 and is very difficult to find. This 16 piece set is the Small size Stippled Band and includes the teapot and lid, 4 plates, 4 cups & saucers, sugar & creamer. This is a rarely found object as part of Wilhelm Kåge's celebrated Argenta series produced for Gustavsberg. It measures 1 5/8" tall and is 1 7/8" in diameter. On the underside is painted in silver Argenta, the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, Gustavsberg, 958. Impressed is the letter S. Excellent condition. There is crazing, which is normal for the glaze.
