This scarce sterling silver 3-3/4" child's fork and matching 3-1/8" child's spoon in the sterling silver flatware Saxon pattern, issued by Birks. The etching First Love was made by Duncan and Miller from the late 1930's through the 1940's. This single-tabbed heart-shaped bowl is in excellent condition. It does have 3 tiny flea bites on the bottom rim.

This elegantly styled murrine pitcher by Fratelli Toso illustrates the technical expertise that the Muranese artisans possess. Each murrine is individually made and they are assembled and fused to the blowpipe and then blown into this relatively thin and elegant form. Being a glassblower myself, I have great respect for the level of skill demonstrated in vessels constructed with murrine. These were produced in the early 1900's, according to Leslie Pinas' "Fratelli Toso"...

Enamel on copper pendant with chain, silver foliated and enamelled in olive green with a nebulosa shape, typical of the years around 1960. Unsigned, but undoubtedly by Jytte Borg, Stockholm, who designed and produced the best enamel costume jewelry in Sweden of the 1950’s and 60’s. Height "2/ 5.5 cm, the length of the copper chain is "27 ½ / 70 cm. Condition: fine.
Beautiful vivid green finger bowl and underplate, both signed Tiffany Favrile. They both have white highlights, but the plate shows up more than the bowl. The bowl measures 5" in diameter by 1 3/4" tall; the plate measures 6 3/4" in diameter. Both pieces are in perfect condition.
A Herend Printemps hand painted oblong trinket or cigarette box with floral decoration and gold trim. This 6-3/4 x 3-1/2" box stands 1-1/2" tall and it is probably one of the many Printemps pieces which all have similar and slightly variant floral designs. It has the later Herend mark with a 7987 form number and a BT pattern code with a 1 or I below. It also has an impressed 7981 26 on the bottom...
I visited the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC a little more than a year ago and saw some really creative ceramics with leather incorporated into the composition among related, sculptural works.
