A classic late Art Deco or early modernist porcelain water jug advertising Ricard Anisette. In the south of France, tradition dictates that anise-flavored aperitifs should be served with water to dilute the drink. Makers such as Ricard and Pernod provided advertising pitchers to local bars and cafes to increase their sales. This squared-off rectangular form is less common than the traditional globe-shaped pitcher and became popular after World War II...

Russian? Persian? Very vintage 900 silver figural detailed feather bird pin brooch with an out spread wingspan. Very interesting maker's mark of a bird - possibly Austro Hungarian. Marked in back 900.
The brooch's shape is almost like that of the Czar of Russia or Romanov symbol, except that this is one headed. Complete with a spray of feathers between the claws and showing strong stance.

Duncan and Miller Sandwich Cake Stand, 13" circumference and 4.8" high". The Sandwich pattern was made from 1924 to 1955. In excellent condition. I acquired this basket in England about fifteen years ago. It measures 18 3/4" across and is about 2 3/4" high. It is dusty and there is a little rim damage (see photos). I found it along with a basket (also listed in my shop) that I believe is of South American origin...

Red and yellow small “Geode” bowl in Sommerso technique, and in the beloved irregularly triangular shape of the 1950s. Height "2/ 5 cm, width appr. "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: normal wear around the cut and polished base.

Francesca Mascitti Lindh for Arabia, double-handled jar, 1960s. Shape referring to the Bronze Age. Height: 3 " / 7, 5 cm, width: 6 1/2 " / 16,5 cm. Condition: part of the rim restuck and a glaze chip on the side has been refilled.

A purple bowl of swirl shape in the style of Beranek – Skrdlovice – or Klinger – Zelezny Brod Sklo /ZBS. The Czech glassworks like many other industries were nationalised. This bowl originally must have been produced for the Skoda car factory since it bears the Skoda mark (in use from 1929). Length "5½/ 14 cm. Condition: wear to the base and a scratch mark near the base.

Cream or milk jug by Robert Picault in Vallauris, c 1960. Decoration in green and - unusual for Picault - blue. Marked RP. Height "3½/ 9 cm. Condition: fine.

Semi-eggshell thin cup and saucer by Imura, Japan, c 1920. Decoration in black, gilt and orange-red of fans in the Kutani style. Signed Nihon (Japan) Yokohama Imura Tsukuru. Height of cup "2¼/ 6 cm, and diameter of saucer "4¾/ 12 cm. Condition: a glaze bubble under the enameled decoration. Saucer with a small nick to the rim (cf. photo).

Flapper necklace, a sautoir (Fr. sauter = to throw) made up of minimal glassbeads in an intense orange shade, the tassels red-orange. From the Charleston era, 1920’s. Length "53/ 135 cm. Condition: fine.

This figural glass lamp was produced by L.E. Smith Company during the 1940's - 50's. The color was fired on over clear glass, giving the opaque blue finish. This style is the 'Ballerina' lamp. The base shows 2 dancers in classic ballet pose. I have 2 available, price is per lamp. All have been re-wired so they work fine. The shade clips on the light bulb. (Bulb not included, I recommend 25 or 40 watt bulbs so the glass doesn't get too hot.) All are in good shape.

Fenton Burmese Bowl is 8-3/4" wide and about 4" high. It is in mint condition, made in the 1960's, matte finish.

This Czechoslovakian solid yellow vase with applied jet rim is cased. It is 8 1/4" tall. The base of the vase is 3" in diameter. The base is hallmarked "Czechoslovakia". It is in excellent condition.

This is a really pretty pair of Ruby Flashed Wakefield, aka Waterford, 5 1/2 inch high single Candle Holders made by Westmoreland Glass. These Candle Holders are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The ruby flashing is all very good. Part of the original Westmoreland label is still attached.
