A beautiful 8-glass cordial set in a velvet box, made by Moser. The cordial heights vary between 2 inches to 3 1/4 inches (5 cm to 8,25 cm). The box is 12 inches by 8 1/2 inches by 2 3/4 inches (30 cm X 22 cm X 7 cm). Four of the glasses are in gold cameo. All glasses are marked, 'Moser' and are in fine condition. The set was probably in a museum's collection and carries the museum's ascension number (see last picture).

A fine Art Deco 800 silver graduated jigger in an exaggerated flaring design. The sections measure 1, 1 1/2, and 2 1/2 ounces. The bottom is stamped for 800 silver and has an Italian mark used 1935-38 that was applied to finished silver goods already in the inventories of Italian jewelers and silversmiths.

Lovely pair of sterling silver short candlesticks, the sockets with an engraved design and flaring outline suggestive of a tulip blossom. The design has a nice Art Deco feel and is really much more interesting than the typical short candlesticks of this type. The bottoms are marked “Sterling” but have no maker’s mark.

Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, the bottom edge of one stick has a few truly pinpoint-sized dings (not really visible except when upside down)...

The pattern is called 'Five fruits' and is one of Consolidated's scarce tableware lines. Wonderfully detailed print of snowy herons huddled together in the water by Japanese artist Ohara Koson (1877-1945). This is a shin-hanga style of print, a revitalization of the traditional ukiyo-e style, which means "pictures of the floating world", popularized during the Edo period in Japan (17th-19th century). The background of the print fades beautifully from the icy grey and white toned sky into the gorgeous blues of the water...

A Siam style budha cast bronze head made at Bien Hoa professional School in Vietnam circa 1930. Nice reproduction and beautiful patina. The Bien Hoa school was created in 1906 by French administrators who, seeing Vietnamese art and culture disappear during colonization, wanted to safeguard this important Vietnamese artistic heritage. The school was therefore created, it housed hundreds of Annamese students who became sculptors, painters, ceramists, cabinetmakers etc.....

Antique circa 1870 Fleur de Lis pin open work cut chased brooch with curly "C" closure, tube hinge and extended pinstem is marked "800" probably for the earliest of the Italian Peruzzi Florence work. Fleur de lis or Prince Charles Feathers motif.
