This beautiful comport and liner plate was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Iris', though it looks like wild roses to me.... The comport or mayo bowl is approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter, the under plate is 7 inches in diameter. This beautiful hand painted Muhlhause vase is hand painted and enameled. The glass is an opaque soft white and the enameling design is floral. The colors are rich and the decoration is bright with gold trim to suggest naturalistic Art Nouveau themes of foliage, birds and flowers.

The top is a maroon-brown color. The diameter of the mouth is 3 1/2" and the base is 4 1/2"

This porcelain group was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl between 1955 and 1957. The model number is 1524. It measures 3 inches high by 3 inches wide. The figure is modeled with fine detail. The fur, toes and fingers are all well defined. Their facial expressions give these little imps charm. They are hand painted in earth tones. Condition: They are in excellent, original condition with a minor glaze pit. This is mentioned for accuracy.

Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Coffee Pot, made in "Denmark", 9 1/2" high, 6" wide with handle, hand painted vivid and crispy floral design with highlight with gold, the porcelain body is fluted vertical low relief lines on the surface. Underneath the cover is also marked with "Royal Copenhagen" mark as well as on the bottom of the pot. The condition is good, no damage or restoration.

Bengt Edenfalk vase for Skruf. This squat, rounded corner vase is from the 1950's Spun series where glass threads are wound around the exterior of the piece as decoration. Edenfalk was a designer for Skruf from 1953 to 1978, then Kosta from 1978 on, pieces from the Spun series were featured in a major exhibition at Corning Museum of Glass in 1959. Set of 6 800 silver art nouveau figural small teaspoons, Germany, c.1900. Each shows a lovely woman's head with flowing hair in an art nouveau floral setting. The reverse represents the back of the head in a floral setting. Each spoon measures 4 1/2" long. They are signed "800 German marks star" on the back. A fine quality, fully hand painted English bone china covered oval entree dish dated 1907. Made by Royal Crown Derby in the 6452 pattern, this 11-1/4" x 7-3/4" serving dish has a cobalt band with matte gold painting including a grape vine motif and white enamel jewelling. It is marked on both pieces with the orange ROYAL CROWN DERBY ENGLAND 6452 mark, the M year letter (for 1907) and an underglaze stamped DERBY 6-07...

A Moser footed master salt with tooled and gilded rim. The colorless salt has a polished pontil mark and is 3.25 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. The salt is decorated with heavy gold enameling. There is wear to the gold on the edge of the foot and on the tooled rim.

A Carder Steuben green jade and alabaster vase measuring 6 inches tall. The vase is shape 3285 and is unsigned. The raised foot is alabaster and the balance of the vase is green jade. The underside of the foot exhibits a broken pontil mark. There is no damage.

This porcelain dish was produced in Bavaria, Germany by Tirschenreuth in the 1960s. It measures 7 5/8 inches long, 5 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep. It is artist signed “Andrews.” The porcelain dish is formed in the shape of a leaf and has a handle on one end. The inside of the dish is hand painted with vividly colored flowers and raspberries. There is heavy gilding around the rim and on the handle...

Six 17th century style sterling silver coffee spoons in the original velvet and satin lined box. The finials are in the shape of globe artichokes. Each spoon is fully hallmarked for London, 1946. Both the spoons and the box are in mint condition. Spoons 4" long.

Measuring 15.25 inches in diameter and 5.25 inches high, this magnificent and absolutely HUGE, C1920, Ohio-made, yellow ware, spongeware mixing bowl or water basin features fabulous blue sponging and is much more striking “in person” than the photos were able to capture.

The bowl sits on a 1/2” footed base and has a lovely turned edge rim. It has glaze crazing typical of an 85+ year old piece of pottery but no cracks, chips or hairlines...

Arts and Crafts sterling silver hand-wrought pie slice by Arthur Stone. Size: 8.5 inches. Early 20th century.

A work of studio pottery, found in Southern California, the color a rich earthy brown, the vessel pierced intentionally by the artist to create naturalistic openings, similar to the distinctive style of Peter Voulkos (1924-2002). The piece measures 7 1/2" high by 5" diameter. The piece is signed on the bottom "Balvin 79". Surprisingly I do not see a studio potter by this name, but the artist was obviously talented and also familiar with Voulkos' acclaimed work.

A Gorham Sterling Silver Pierced BonBon Dish. Oval shaped, and from the 1940's. The dimensions are 8" x 5" x 2" and the weight is 4.5 Troy ounces. Excellent condition, no monogram.

This set of 6 porcelain cups and saucers was produced in Germany by Rosenthal before 1950. The pattern is named “Linnie Lee” decorating an “Ivory” blank. The porcelain is cream colored. The cups have a little pedestal base. It is decorated with a factory transfer of floral sprays and wreathes of flowers. The colors are brightly colored and realistically rendered. The handles and rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1927. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is the finest quality the Western world has seen. The set has slightly scalloped edges that alternate with little points. It is hand painted with sprigs of nasturtiums and foliage. They are brightly colored and realistically painted. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent, first quality porcelain...

This charming covered jar in translucent yellow glass is topped with an opaque yellow pear with green leaf. Made in the 1890s by Salviati. The body of the jar and lid are ribbed and have a lovely iridescence. The bottom of the base has multi-point pontil marks. It stands 6"high by 4" diameter. A similar fruit-topped lid is shown in Carol Osbourne's "Venetian Glass of the 1890s: Salviati at Stanford University" P. 126, Plate 137. The piece is in excellent condition.

A small size coffee pot by Herend, Hungary, with figural rose bud finial, and gilded tendril scroll handle. Size: 6.75 in. ht. Excellent condition. Bachelor's single serving size. Exquisite item.

A lidded bowl of flattened shape. Shiny glaze over flower fantasy motif in typical Gouda Art Noveau style, c 1920's. Diameter "6 ¾/ 17 cm, height "3 ½/ 9 cm. Painted marks 741 and Gouda, gate-mark, Holland and painter's mark "P", the figures also incised. Condition: chip to rim of lid as shown on photo, otherwise fine.
