Ca 1940 This boudoir set features a beveled glass hand mirror, comb and brush. All teeth are present on the comb. Quite heavy, it is unmarked and shows very light wear.

This seated dachshund was designed by Arthur Gredington. He is 2 3/4" long. His colors are black and tan- gloss. He was issued in 1956.

Old Kalaga from Myanmar (now Burma) featuring an unusual but colorful bird. The kalaga is embroidered with a combination of metallic and plain threads, sequins, beads and glass stones. Applied around the bird in a circle are glass-like stones that give the appearance of moonstones. In very good antique/vintage condition, it measures about 14.25 inches square. Circa 1950's or earlier.

A Sterling Silver Serving or Berry Spoon by Amston in the "Crescendo" pattern. Length 9" and in excellent condition.

Beveled thick glass framed with reticulated gilded metal frame Jewelry Box with hinged top, 3 1/4" high, 6" square-glass top, 6 1/2" square on the bottom with four(4) Angels. The condition is good with original velvet lining.

A German porcelain chicken figural schnapps or liquor decanter with glasses or cups and tray from the 1920s. This set is in orange, green and yellow luster and the cork-lined stopper shaped like feathers lifts off to reveal a filling hole. It is fully hand painted, the chicken is 8-1/2" long, the two-handled tray is 9-5/8" long and the schnapps shot glasses stand 1-5/8" high and fit on indented circles on the tray...

Although this pattern was officially named 'Sylvan' by Federal Glass Company, it has always been referred to by the collector's name, Parrot. It was produced for only one year, 1931-2, and is scarce today. Offered here is the 10 inch oval serving bowl in amber. A 2-1/4" tall vintage sterling silver baby mug. This mug is stamped STERLING 970 (possibly the model number), and it weighs 54 grams. This item has a SIMONE monogram, and it is in excellent condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor denting around the bottom rim. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

A heavy pewter jigger in the form of a shotgun shell by Conoy’s of London. The side is marked off in increments, and the head and rim and finished in brass. The side is engraved “Big Shot.” Conoy’s started as a luxury pipe maker and eventually expanded their range to include canes, flasks, and other gentlemen’s accessories.

An English sterling silver mustard pot dated 1920. This vintage fully hallmarked English sterling silver 2-3/8" tall footed round mustard pot with a handle was made in Chester in 1920-21. This table serving item has a hinged lid and a slot for a mustard spoon, and it has the original cobalt blue glass liner. It has a WV&S maker's mark for William Vale & Sons (registered 1895) and it has a weighted base for stability (with some later felt on the bottom)...

Sterling silver gravy ladle in Gorham's 1964 "La Scala" pattern. This is one of the heavier and more expensive patterns produced by Gorham in the mid-20th century.

A lovely signed "Hand Made in Greece Ikaros Pottery B420" with a small 4 at the bottom. In excellent condition though the rim has a slight imperfection original to the piece that is not noticeable except to the touch. The piece measures 8" (h) x 7" (w). The Ikaros factory was located in Rhodes,Greece and ceased production in 1988.

Heisey Plantation 12" crimped Fruit Bowl. Produced from the 1930's til the company closed in 1955. Hard to find and in mint condition.

Measuring 8.25 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches high, this gorgeous, Ohio-made, yellowware fruit bowl features fabulous, heavy blue sponging with gold gilt highlights along its decoratively embossed and scalloped rim.

The bowl has glaze crazing typical of an 85+ year old piece of pottery with no cracks or hairlines...

The Cape Cod pattern was produced by Imperial Glass Company from 1932 through 1984 when they closed. Not all pieces were made throughout those years, but the long production period is testimony to its lasting popularity. Offered here is the #140 comport & lid in crystal that dates to the 1940's - 50's. The comport stands 10 inches high to the top of the knob handle and is 6 1/4 inches wide. A Herend Printemps hand painted oblong trinket or cigarette box with floral decoration and gold trim. This 6-3/4 x 3-1/2" box stands 1-1/2" tall and it is probably one of the many Printemps pieces which all have similar and slightly variant floral designs. It has the later Herend mark with a 7987 form number and a BT pattern code with a 1 or I below. It also has an impressed 7981 26 on the bottom...

In the south of France, tradition dictates that anise-flavored aperitifs should be served with water to dilute the drink.
