This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Shelley before 1950. The numbers 1301/101 are on the bottom. This may be a pattern identification. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The porcelain is fine, white bone china. The cup is can shaped. The set has an overlay of gilding which covers all of the white area on each piece. It is reminiscent of chintz...

Excellent squat Rookwood vase with raised decoration featuring large three-leaf clovers and flowers. The flowers, particularly, are molded in fairy high relief, so that the glaze is thinner over the tips of the petals, creating lovely shading. Vintage demitasse cup and saucer by Royal Doulton in the "Reynard the Fox" pattern. The saucer measures approximately 4.5" in diameter and the cup measures approximately 2.5" tall and 2 1/8" in diameter across the base. It has a riding crop detail for the handle that stretches around the base. The fox and crop detail are slightly raised and beautifully hand-painted. This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. It has both an impressed shield and printed mark. It is 8 1/8 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain is designed with molded ribs and slight scallops on the rim. It is hand painted with a bouquet of flowers in the center and little buds dotting the border. The rim is trimmed with gold. This pair of porcelain sea lions was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1950s. They measure about 5 inches long, 4 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall. They are signed by the artist K. Himmelstoss, a fine modeler who worked at Rosenthal. These adorable little guys look like they are kissing. They are well modeled and hand painted. Artisans at Rosenthal created animal figures with character and personality as you can see. Condition: Excellent first quality.
