This extraordinary and sensuous ceramic sculpture depicts a muscular young man embracing an exaggerated grape cluster. "Drunken Young Man", by Kai Nielsen for Bing & Gröndahl in Copenhagen. This sculpture was one of a series known as "Vinhosten" issued in 1912. Absolutely stunning and in mint condition. It measures 4½" (10.5cm). Charming Art Deco child's porcelain cup and saucer decorated with transfer scenes depicting "Little Boy Blue". The outside of the cup is decorated on both sides and there is a small scene on the interior, as well. The saucer has three matching small pastoral scenes. The rims and handle are decorated with gilding.

Origin: probably England, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, normal glaze crackling, no chips or cracks. Size: cup, 2-1/2" tall; saucer, 5-1/2" diameter.

This is a wonderful hand painted cottageware /cottage ware biscuit jar, biscuit barrel or cookie jar made by Price Brothers, Kensington, Staffordshire England. This item is from the 1940s and is marked Ye Olde Cottage. The shape is a thatched cottage with it's original rattan handle. It is 7" tall without the handle x 5" deep x 6" wide. These is a flake on the inside rim.

This vintage stoneware pottery 6 gallon ice water dispenser (water cooler) was made by Roseville Pottery Company circa 1900 or before.

The cooler measures 17 1/2" including the lid. The outside diameter is 12". This crock, stoneware ice water cooler weighs in at a hefty 41 pounds.

The blue paint is still very vibrant. The gasket around the spigot should be replaced because it has some dry rot. Overall condition is excellent except for one 2 1/4" exterior craze line near the top.
