This super classy table server consists of the 11-1/2 x 6" pierced footed asparagus cradle or drainer and the matching 15-1/4 x 6-1/8" two-handled underplate or tray with bun feet. The cradle has a wirework frame and rest for a butter or sauce boat (not present) and the tray has the mark for Barker Brothers of Birmingham, England...

A delightful mid-century modern jigger by Reed & Barton. The figurine of the town drunk has a 1920’s feel, but the interior green enamel identifies the jigger as part of Reed & Barton’s “Color-Clad” line designed by John Prip and introduced in 1961. A classic Art Deco figural cocktail shaker in the form of traditional milk can by Reed & Barton. The “Milk Can” was introduced in 1959 and came in two sizes, with the 32-ounce size retailing for $35. This shaker was a luxury product and was made with Reed & Barton’s highest quality plating. The bottom is stamped “Reed & Barton/27/32 oz.” It also retains the original paper lable.

A distinctive and very uncommon Art Deco figural jigger in the form of an English riding boot (variously called a jockey, field or paddock boot). The details of the design such as the pull straps and seams are picked out in a raised design. The jigger is silver plated and is extremely heavy for its size, indicating that its made of a high quality white bronze rather than a simple base metal. The boot's sole is marked "Made In England/Silver Plated/Approx 1-1/2 oz"

For centuries, tastevins have been important accessories for French wine lovers, but until now we’ve never seen one that actually depicted “French wine lovers” in such graphic detail! The unidentified maker is known to have made a similar tastevin depicting “Pétanque Fanny” merely lifting her skirts from behind. This very rare version goes quite a bit further, with Fanny in the clutches of a pair of old men...

A delightful and very rare French Art Deco silverplate cocktail shaker with enamel recipe decoration by Deschamps Frères of Paris. The enameled decoration depicts a pair of scrolled documents with seals presenting recipes for “Torelli” and “Winter Palace” cocktails. Both are rather unusual variations on a classic martini. Adolphe Torelli was the barman at the famous Winter Palace Hotel in Nice...

A classic silverplated single-serving cocktail shaker by Napier in 1934 specifically to be sold at Saks Fifth Avenue. The shakers were made in two variations, one with a dial on the top indicating the type of cocktail within and this version, with the profile of a rooster on the lid. The shaker has a built-in strainer and pouring spout. When removed, the lid becomes a footed cocktail glass. The bottom of the shaker is stamped "Napier Pat. Pend."

This wonderfully inventive Art Deco silverplate jigger measures 3/4, 1, 1-1/2 and 2 ounces. The cube joining the various cups shows measurements on one side and is stamped with the hallmark for Benedict Manufacturing Company (1894-1953) on the other. The cube is perfectly weighted so the jigger does not tip over when the upper cup is filled. This implement was created by the noted modernist designer Albert F. Saunders as a part of Benedict's "Modernistic" line...

Designed by Christian Fjerdingstad who worked for Christofle of France from 1924-1939, of silver plate, depicting a swan, the head formed from the ladle, the bowl as the bird's body, on pedestal foot, signed on base and on ladle. Measures 2 3/4" high, and 10 1/2" from beak to tail when ladle is resting in bowl. The ladle alone measures 8" and the bowl is 7 7/8" x 3 7/8". The ladle is marked under the bird's head with Gallia and the O C mark, while the bowl is stamped on the side of the pedest...
