From our World Handicrafts Collection (ex-Asia), a large and very fine Persian rug, hand-woven of wool and silk in a rich and elegant palette of deep red, dark and light blue, tan, mint green, pale orange, and cream.

Size and Condition: 10 feet and 4 inches long (124 inches), 7 feet and 8 inches wide (92 inches). There are some thread pulls and light general wear, but overall condition is excellent.

Pua kumbu woven on cotton to represent chimeras, birds together with foliage and geometric design. Natural red, brown and blue colours. Sarawak (Eastern Malaysia), Iban peoples. Length: 220 cm. Width: 117 cm. Very good condition. Acquired in Singapore in 1978.

Hand made Baskets quilt with 15 baskets applied on diamond-shaped square. Hand stitched in patterns all over and in fair condition. Baskets and stitching are fine but there are stains on the quilt. Quilt made of wool rectangles of different wool fabric separated by pink stitching, Pennsylvania, c.1930's. The rectangles measure 4 1/2" by 3 1/4" and the quilt is 38" by 60". There is a 1" border of an interesting fabric. That fabric is the back with an interesting pattern of solid color strips of fabric. very good condition with a small amount of wear at the back of the strips of fabric, otherwise, the front is excellent......$75 for insured USA shipping.

Fabulous sassy pouch and totally intact, a major feat for a little purse that ancient! Large blue faceted beads, two levels of tiny silver bead fringe and an eight strand long tassel. Great lining and metal drawstring. Some lucky person danced the Charleston with this little purse swinging from her wrist. Diameter of purse fully opened 4 1/2", length of purse 5", length of tassel 2 1/2", wristband tightens automatically by metal drawstring to fit any size wrist.
