This porcelain figurine of a pair of falcons was produced in Germany by Karl Ens Volkstedt in the 1950s. It measures 10 1/2 inches high and 8 3/4 inches long. They are well modeled with excellent detail. See how their eyes, beaks and talons are defined. They are hand painted in natural colors. They appear to be a mated pair on the watch for prey. A sterling silver wine funnel in a classic Georgian design by the luxury English silversmith Asprey & Co. The upper rim is simply decorated in a beaded pattern. The strainer bottom is pierced in a starburst design. The piercing will strain out the larger sediments, and the funnel opens so a piece of muslin or a screen can be inserted to filter even the smallest sediments during decanting. The funnel is fully hallmarked by Asprey and bears the date letter for 1984.

Measuring 5 1/4" across & weighing 156 grams this 940 sterling silver dish was designed by Taxco, Mexico designer Hector Aguilar. The dish is centered with a 1951 coin with a HIDALGO profile. The reverse side of the coin features an eagle fighting a serpent. This candy dish is pictured on p. 67 of SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. HA, 940, TAXCO, & TALLER BORDA and eagle 9 hallmarks are found on the underside rim of the dish.

Tiffin Twilight free form Bowl measures 8x9 inches and is 4 inches high. It does have a couple of "straw marks", which is normal. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. Remember, this glass changes color depending on the light source: it is blue under flourescent lighting and lavendar under incandescent lighting and in sunlight.
