A vintage mid century modernist pair of salad servers in sterling silver and exotic wood by William Spratling. One is an open slotted spoon/fork and the other is a large serving spoon.
They each measure 12 1/4" long and 2 1/4" across the bowls. Marked with the conjoined 'WS', Taxco and 925. These were the marks used between 1933-40, the first design period.

Chinese-style bowl, ca 1920. Mottled green hardstone urn on silver gilt fretwork base with 4 splayed supports. A pretty ornament that works as an ashtray with silver gilt leaf cradle mounted to rim. Marked “Edward I Farmer / Sterling”. Very good with nice toning. Rim has a few fleabite irregularities.

Dramatic sterling silver seafood serving bowl. Made by Buccellati in Italy. Two joined scallop-shells bowls on scallop-shell supports. A traditional form enlivened by the figure of an octopus squatting in the center, its curled and tangled legs draped over the bowls. A graphic contrast between the scales and suckers of the octopus and the controlled and stylized ornament on the shells. Very original. Beautiful craftsmanship...
Wonderful unsigned Moser cordial with colorfully enameled raised bird in black, blue, white and yellow. The cup is optically ribbed and also enameled with gold pond lillies and grasses. The cordial is 4 3/4 inches tall.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1930. It has first quality blue crossed swords markings under glaze. The saucer is 5 1/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches deep. The set has the traditional wavy borders with points at intervals. The cup features a split branch handle. The set is hand painted in shades of puce. The flower arrangements are executed with precision and excellent artistry...
A vintage hammered copper small pot, unmarked, likely circa first part of the 20th century, with interesting curved handle, and hand placed grommet. Measurements are 4" high not including handle, and about 5 1/4" across at widest. Not the famous Dirk van Erp of the San Francisco Bay area, but nevertheless and interesting piece. There is a dent along the bottom edge as shown.
