Old Chinese Export Bovine Water Buffalo Bone Carved Mahjong Complete Set with Animal Jokers Tiles in Wood Box

The box is 3.4 inches (8.7 cm) tall by 7.8 inches (20 cm) long and 5.55 inches (14.1 cm) wide. Each tile is 0.5 inch thick (1.2 cm) by 1.2 inches (3 cm) in length and 0.84 inch (2.1 cm) wide. It is 4.1 lb.

The box has a chip and hairline cracks at the lid, a hairline cracks at the bottom, flea bite chips, peeling of paint, and surface wears and scratches...

Chinese Complete set of Mahjong Set, Bamboo back bone front with colorful characters, total 144 pieces of tiles plus 4 round pieces of east, west, north and south and 4 square dices, many counting sticks. To open the front of the box, push holes in the back side toward forward, all five(5) trays will open one by one. Box size(6 1/4" high, 9" wide, 5 3/4" deep), and the condition is good.

Chinese Mother of Pearl Mahjong Set with Wood Box

The box is 6.6 inches (16.8 cm) tall by 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) long and 9.2 inches (23.3 cm) wide. Each tile is 0.4 inch thick (1 cm) by 1.2 inches (3 cm) in length and 0.78 inch (2 cm) wide. The total weight is 9.3 Lb.

The box has hairline, surface wears and scratches. Some tiles have rubbing paints, flea bite chips, surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos)...

Chinese Rosewood Abacus, 11 1/2" long, 4 1/4" wide, 1 1/8" high, carved Chinese Characters between decks. The condition is as is but not damaged.

Chinese carved Wood Rice Cake Mold, Ca. 1930's, 9 1/2" long, 4 3/4" wide, 1" thick, with deep carved Chinese Peach and "Long Life" in Chinese Character in the center, very decorative and well carved out of raw piece of wood and hand saw mark in the back outside. The condition shows wear and tear.

This is a rustic brushpot a farmer in rural Hubei carved this out of a tree trunk. He spotted the branch at the right and decided not to trim it Hence this pot has a handle. Its skin is old and patinated. It is a charming pot. It dates from the 19th century.

Charming gilt bronze figure of ball player displayed on a wooden pedestal. Figure is balancing ball on one foot with arms by sides. Ball player is wearing traditional cloth garb for game playing, with a unique tattooing on upper legs. Early 20th century. Dimensions: 7.75" Tall, 3.5" Wide at Base

Chinese Wooden Grain Measuring Bucket, 11" high, 7 1/4" square-top, 14" square-bottom, with heavy black iron mounted frame with multiple studded iron nails, the heavy iron frame covers around the top rim, underneath 2 sides with attached wooden handles. Bottom area of black iron mounted frame is somewhat rusted and damaged with age, and some age cracks on wood.

19th Century Chinese Hardwood grain measuring Bucket with Brass trim and incised "Kuang Hsu" Emperor's mark on the side, made for celebration event, late 1800's, 5 5/8" high, 9" square-top, 9 1/4" square-bottom, top has brass mounted handle in the center as well as bottom corners. It is heavy weight made out of Rosewood, has two(2) cracks on the bottom.

Chinese Wooden Rice Cake Mold, 21" long, 2 1/4" wide, 1 5/8" deep, with natural deep cracks in the wood, it is heavy weight one(1) piece of wood.

Chinese Bamboo Wall Hanger, 3 1/4" high 15" wide with slightly curved, with five(5) separate hooks pegged into the main bamboo piece. Black cloth rope wrapped around the both end, that is part of decoration. The condition is good, ready to hang with brass eye screws on the top.

Chinese Bamboo hanging wall decoration, Chinese Character incised in black, 11" high, 5 1/2" wide in the back, half moon shape. The condition is good except natural shrinkage of inner soft part of Bamboo, please see inside the top.

Chinese natural Bamboo Container or bucket, 7 1/2" high with lid, 9" diameter for lid, wrapped around with the twisted metal wire. The condition is good, some separation between the vertical bamboo pieces.

Chinese wood grain Shuffle or bucket, 24" high, 9 1/2" wide, 7" deep, with iron mounted around the corners and curved handle in front,and round handle on the bottom area to grip firmly. Worn area and shows a lot of usage.

Traditional pipe made of bamboo and copper used by the minorities in the south of China (Dong, Miao, Yao...)to smoke either tobacco and opium.
Very decorated bowl made of metals of different colors, with bats on the side; beautiful patina. 43 cms.

Chinese heavy weight wooden grain measuring bucket with black iron mounting with studded nails, 10" high, 7" square-top rim, 12" square-bottom rim, two(2) handles are positioned in different angle to hold the heavy weight grain. There are Chinese Characters written in black calligraphy style on all four(4) sides. Some iron mounting area on the bottom is rusted and left rough wooden surface.

Brass toggle of equestrian monkey; the homophony of the expression "mashang fenghu" helps a civil servant to be promoted faster.
