Beautiful, very elegant silver overlay vase with a bright blue background and silver overlay small leaves all over. It measures 13" tall x 6" diameter at the top, 10" diameter in the middle, and 5" at the bottom. The size of this vase makes it a very impressive piece, and the silver is everywhere. Very beautiful dark wood phurbu richly carved, the top shows 3 beautiful faces of protective ancestors of exceptional sculptural quality, each face measures 5 to 6 cm high. The top shows a miniature animal head (1.5 cm high), probably that of the mythical horse Hayagriva. The central part is a beautiful dorgi very finely carved. The triangular point shows a trunk wrapped in the mouth of Makara, each hand of which holds the head of a snake which rise from the point of the Phurbu; H 28.5 cm

This well carved ivory incense burner with hard wood fitted base is a mid 20th century product. It is 5 1/8” high (with base is 6 ¼” high), 4” wide and 2 ¼” thick. Two dragons with clouds are carved on the body and a big dragon is carved on the cover. The handles with loose rings are carved into dragon forms as well. The three legs are carved as animal claws. There are two honorable seals “Qian Long.” One is on the bottom of the burner; the other is on the bottom of the cover...

This shoulder bag was made and used by the Hmoung women of northern Thailand. It would carry all the traditional items which would have been commonly found in a woman's purse. The bag fabric was hand loomed from the indigenous plants and then embroidered using traditional cross-stitched with geometric patterns. An unusual 1940s French cocktail pick holder depicting a "racoleuse"--a streetwalker--leaning against a lamp post and raising her skirt very high. The chrome is engraved in a way to show that her thin dress does nothing to hide her more perky attributes. A selection of bakelite and chrome cocktail picks a stored in the trash can on the other side of the lamp post. Cocktail picks, often with very elaborate holders, were vastly popular in France and come in infinite variety...
