Edwardian sterling silver tray. Made by S. Kirk & Son Inc. in Baltimore. Oval well and wide shoulder with repousse floral garland on stippled ground; imbricated leaf rim. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (1925-32), no. 2517, and phrase “Hand Decorated”. Very good condition.

Cambridge Glass Ice Cream Spoon with amber scoops and crystal handles are in perfect condition. Three are available. They are about 8.5" long, made before 1940 when homemade ice cream only came in "soft" texture -- so glass spoons were very usable!

Kogo (Incense Container) by Kawai Takeichi; Kyoto, 1972. Dark green glaze. 2.25"(5.75cm) square x 1.75"(4cm) high. This piece was acquired on a visit to the Kawai pottery on August 9, 1972 and has had one owner since then. Kawai Takeichi (1908-1989) is the nephew of legendary Mingei (Folk Craft) Movement potter Kawai Kanjiro (1890-1966;) who along with Yanagi Soetsu, Hamada Shoji, Bernard Leach, and others were the first-generation leaders of this movement...

This pair is carved from the same agate stone boulder having blue/grey color tones with soft hints of tans and an impressive surface polish. Pair of vintage Chinese cloisonne brush pots decorated on the front with scholar's desk objects set against a blue background covered in cloud cloisons. On the back of each is a gourd and sprig of coral. A ruyi band encircles the top. The rims are copper and blue counter-enamel is in the interior and base. Each measures 9 1/8" high x 4" diameter.
