A set of four large scrolls depicting seasonal landscapes by Shirakura Niho enclosed in the original signed double wood box exhibited at the 1936 Nangain-Ten and published in the book Shirakura Niho (page 127 figures 102-107). Ink & Light color on Paper in fine silk mountings, they have been completely cleaned and restored to original perfect condition retaining the original cloth by Kitaoka Hyboido of Kyoto. Each scroll is 66 x 138.5 cm (26 x 54-1/2 inches)...
This pretty, vintage, blue Madrid depression glass oval vegetable or serving bowl was made by Federal Glass from 1932 to 1938. This bowl measures 10 inches long X 6 7/8 inches across. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, however, there is a slight 1/2 inch minor indent at one spot on the inner rim of the bowl that was done in the making. Decorative paté jar, the lid of which is topped by a reclining, sleepy duck. Made around 1920 by Heubach, an old family business in Thuringia, Germany. Octagonal and hand painted with panels of stylized roses. In all, the design is between Art Nouveau / Jugendstil and Art Déco. With the printed Heubach Kunst Porzellan mark in use from 1910 to 1945, and impressed model number 10828. Height with the duck "4 ¼ / 11 cm and diameter "4 ¾ / 12 cm. Condition: fine.

This is a really nice crystal clear Colonial, aka Knife and Fork, 7 inch Ice Lip Pitcher made by Hocking Glass from 1934 to 1938. This Pitcher is listed in the book as a 54 ounce Water Pitcher. It actually holds 58 ounces almost running over, so the 54 ounces is more realistic. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches.
