Decorative paté jar, the lid of which is topped by a reclining, sleepy duck. Made around 1920 by Heubach, an old family business in Thuringia, Germany. Octagonal and hand painted with panels of stylized roses. In all, the design is between Art Nouveau / Jugendstil and Art Déco. With the printed Heubach Kunst Porzellan mark in use from 1910 to 1945, and impressed model number 10828. Height with the duck "4 ¼ / 11 cm and diameter "4 ¾ / 12 cm. Condition: fine.

This is a really nice crystal clear Colonial, aka Knife and Fork, 7 inch Ice Lip Pitcher made by Hocking Glass from 1934 to 1938. This Pitcher is listed in the book as a 54 ounce Water Pitcher. It actually holds 58 ounces almost running over, so the 54 ounces is more realistic. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. This is a really nice 3 3/4 inch high 9 Ounce depression glass Straight Sided cobalt blue Sailboat, aka Ships, Water Tumbler made by Hazel Atlas Glass from 1938 to 1939.
