The Hmong women of Thailand would decorate their jackets with small rectangles of ornately embroidered collars. This collection of 6 such collars represents the tiny intricate stitches and range of techniques which use to be used. Collars such as these are rarely available on the market mow.

Collars range from 5.5 to 6 inches across and 3inches to 3.5 inches long.

This is a really nice Cobalt blue, with Windmill decoration, Ice Pail with Rim made by Hazel Atlas. The Ice Pail measures 4 inches high X 4 1/2 inches in diameter across the top. This set of 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers was produced in Finland by Arabia in the mid 20th century. The saucers have a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and the cups are 2 1/4 inches high. They are made of fine, hard paste porcelain. They are decorated with a combination of transfer design and hand enameled accents. The designs are very modern in style, perhaps from the 1960s. The handles are gilded as are the interiors of the cups...

Very rare, large lidded rattan basket from the Nung Rawang ethnic group of Northern Burma, Kachin State. The Rawang are a subgroup of the Kachin people and live in some of the last great wilderness forests left in Burma. Also it is interesting to note that the men do the weaving and with advent of plastic bags this pretty much an extinct craft. This is the oldest basket from this group I have ever found- conservatively at least 50 years plus. HL 42cm/16.5in and D: 27cm/10.6in...

A Chinese Yixing Jar, Qing Dynasty/Republic. Height approximately 9 cm, width 13.5 cm (across handles). The jar has tiny chips inside the cover. Good condition.

Balinese Mask of a strong male or Panglembar Keras, used in the art form of the Topeng dance drama, which came about in the 15th century in Bali and Java. The Balinese version of Topeng would include many different character masks, some speaking and some non-speaking. The mask has real hair mounted on strips of leather for his eyebrows and mustache, with carved sideburns, lacquered face and eyes, and metal inlaid teeth. circa 1920s Size: 9.75" height, 6" width
