A Royal Doulton Room for One Early Motoring series ware plate. This rare 10-5/8" series ware display plate from the Early Motoring series was produced by Royal Doulton from 1905-28. This plate depicts the scene called "Room for One" (D2406); it has the black Doulton mark, a letter E below the pattern number and an underglaze 11-06 (or08) (for 1906 or 1908)...

Fine Large Glazed Stoneware Jar - Malcolm Pepper

This impressive stoneware jar was made by Malcolm Pepper (1937 - 1980) during the 1970s. It is "heavily-potted" and very attractively decorated as our detailed images show; no further description is needed!

Height 24 cm (9.5 inches), diameter 31 cm (12.25 inches). It is in perfect condition.

Lovely low glaze ceramic garden stand. Ornamented with cut out lotus flower, water, tree and bat designs throughout. Top two tiers are circular shape, with very top modeling a green cut out design with yellow circular ring. Bottom of stand is hexagonal shape. Rare old Shui ethnic minority baby carrier is from Gui Zhou province China. The upper section is elaborately embroidered using mostly satin stitch technique. The lower section is embroidered with horsehair wrapped thread design. Although this carrier shows extensive use, and shows a bit of dirt, it retains its beauty. Measures approx 20" x 36"

A carved and painted wood model of a totem pole of the Tlingit, indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast of North America. Depecting a frog, a whale, a bear and a beaver, the back is inscribed in ink and the base is dated New York, U.S.A. June 1931. Dimensions: c. total 40.1 cm high, diameter stand: c. 7.5 cm. Condition: beautiful patina, few tiny chips and minimal wear, the base with little losses to bark.

Dating from the mid 1960's, this is a stunning 3 strand faux pearl necklace with an elaborate gold tone pave and emerald & sapphire cabochon clasp. The shortest strand--including the clasp--is 16" (41cm) long. The clasp is 1 1/4" (3.6cm) wide and the pearls are 10mm in diameter. The gilt metal clasp has pave rhinestones and deep blue and emerald green unfoiled cabochons. The pearl strands are hand knotted. The necklace is signed on the back of the clasp with the K.J.L...

A Chinese side table with drawer made of Rosewood. Key fret design on each foot in the Ming style with beaded edge detail. The top is a floating panel surrounded by a mitered corner frame. Brass hardware.

Such figures (twins beaded) were reserved for high status "royal" tribal leaders for protection. Heavily decorated with beads, bone and cowrie shells, this pair is 80 years old and have some kind of marking on the bottom. sourced out of Fumbane (foumban), approximately 12 inches high

A perfect Persian turquoise Chinese Peking Glass wine cup. it is molded glass, cut/grinded with a short carved foot. Chinese glass was largely used to imitate more precious materials such as white jade, lapis lazuli and other valuable minerals.
