Large stylized murano glass figure of a kneeling Asian, rendered in two shades of smoky gray glass with amethyst undertones. The figure is made of simple forms, but the attention to detail is evident in the face and head of the figure. The figure stands 13.5 inches (34.2 cm) tall and is slightly over 5 inches (12.7 cm) wide and is 7.5 inches (19 cm) deep. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. This is one of the Steuben animals that I have never seen before. Measuring 5" high, he was introduced in 1974, and I don't know when he was discontinued, but I know he isn't available anymore. He is in perfect condition. It is Steuben number 8293.
China, Guanyin carving, in standing position, with deeply carved details and natural wood grain, from republic period. Size; Height of carving is 8 inches, no condition issues.
Very old Dan mask with circular eyes, protruding forehead, long thin nose, protruding lips, small chin. This mask is of the "gunyeya" type, and was used during the running competitions which were organised to train men to run and fight. It is made of wood, with a fine dark brown glossy patina. Its height: 19.8 cm. The mask is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Africa, Ivory Coast/Liberia, first half of 20th century. Obvious signs of use and age, otherwise very good condition.
Japanese limited edition sosaku hanga “kappa-ban” (stencil print) on crumpled hand-made momigami paper by Sadao Watanabe (1913-1996) titled “Entry into Jerusalem” depicting Christ on a donkey riding over a flower strewn path and surrounded by a crowd of followers. Set against a light grey background. The print is signed and dated 1978 at the lower right and numbered 17/70 at the lower left, all in black ink. The paper measures about 27”V x 21”H (22 ½” unfolded)...

Gorgeous silver plate gravy boat by Christofle of France, fashioned after the Empire Period of Napoleon, named Malmaison after his home in France, large size with attached underplate, mid 20th century.
Measures 9" x 5 3/4" x 6" high.
The hallmark indicates that the piece was made between 1935 and 1983, and has the Coll Gallia impressed mark as well.
Like all Christofle wares, the details are very refined, the forms are beautiful and the quality is superb...
Incredible copper brass, and mother-of-pearl crab dish, Mexico, c.1945. One of the most exciting table wear pieces from Mexico, unsigned. It measures 19" long by 13" wide by 4" high and is very heavy weight. A vintage mid century modernist dish by William Spratling with four Rosewood feet.
Measures 1 1/8" high and 3 5/8" across. Marked with the conjoined Script 'WS' and Eagle #63. These were the marks used between 1965-67. In good condition, has some tarnish and very minor dings to the body that can mostly be seen from the underside. There are some minor crimps to some of the edges. The wood feet are in very nice condition.
Fine Spratling design.
A difficult wood with which to work, ebony is also an exceedingly attractive one as this hand carved crocodile attests with its exotic and realistic hide. Bone teeth and eyes complete the sculpture. These figures date from the early to mid 20th C, possibly of Indian origin, and are frequently found with lost eyes and teeth, making this one a choice specimen.
