Red, white, and navy blue hand woven wool coverlet, early 19th century, measuring 91" long by 74" wide. Woven in two equal sections, three fringed sides have the design shown in photos 1,3 & 4. The 4th side is hemmed and without the design. Excellent condition except for the hemmed edge which has holes along that side. 19th century netsuke of a sitting boy holding a turtle with one hand, and trying to break its shell with a stone that he holds in the other. Unusual subject, strong early carving, wonderful wear consistent with age, beautiful patina with yellowing on the back, where netsuke was touching silk of the kimono. Nice textile patterns, Height 1.41 inches.

This sterling souvenir spoon of Christopher Columbus and the Santa Maria in is excellent condition. It was made by Codding Brothers & Heilborn circa 1891.

It depicts the bust of Christopher Columbus on a twisted handle and the Santa Maria in a gold wash bowl.It is 4" in length.

This is a decorative early 19thC Chinese Famille Rose porcelain plate, the soft white ground wonderfully painted with enameled birds, butterflies, and flowers. Measurement: 8 in.; Condition: Good with some gilt wear to rim and several rim chips.

Chinese Ming Dynasty green glazed burial figure of an attendant holding a wine pot . Size 8" by 3"

Beautifully carved butter churner guide ("Ghurra' or "neti"), decorated with a relief rope and chevron design. Wood, with fine dark-brown patina. Himalayan Region. Length: 11 1/4" (23,5 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on a custom wood stand. Obvious signs of use and age, otherwise very good condition. NOTE: the "ghurra" was collected in situ in the early 1970s, during my 20 years stay in Asia.

Stevens & Williams Vaseline Opalescent Epergne stands 13" tall, made in the 1880's! The base is 8" wide. Has a couple of very small bubbles within the bowl. Otherwise, it has no chips or scratches. Excellent condition for something made in the 1880's. The bowl is swirl optic while the horn stem is heavily ribbed. Any questions, please ask.
