Measuring 13 1/2 x 19 1/4 inches this textile from Maqur district in Ghazni province is embroidered in silk thread on a fine linen background. The textile was intended to be made into a man or a woman's shirt. There is only one small brown stain, otherwise its condition is nearly perfect. Estimated age: mid 20th century. The embroidery technique is an extremely detailed ladder stitch.

Fine Chinese hand crafted shou-shan stone Scholar figure, early 20th century period. Size; Height of carving is 3.8 inches, no condition concerns.
This child's hat from the remote valleys of Indus Kohistan measures 15 cm in diameter and 45 cm in circumference. Embroidered in an extremely fine tent stitch (petit point) and ladder stitch in acrylic thread, it features a beaded tassel and a horned amulet made of the teeth of a musk deer, believed to repel evil spirits. The hat is estimated to date to the mid or late 20th century and is in excellent condition.
Sterling silver water pitcher by Tiffany circa 1930. Simple, elegant design with an "AD" monogrammed on the front. It measures approximately 8" tall and from handle to spout measures approximately 7.5". It says on the bottom, it holds 4.25 pints.
The marking on the bottom says: "TIFFANY & Co, 16974 MAKERS 8391, STERLING SILVER, 925-1000, M" It is in good condition, and the overall weight is 2 lbs.
A rather unusual fan painting (senmen) portraying an image of a dragon rising above the clouds done using fingers. The tradition of finger painting is thought to have originated from China. Eccentric literati artists used their fingers instead of the brush to become one with the painting. Work contains a signature and seal by an artist named Sonsen. Additionally, the inscription on the fan reads: finger painted by Sonsen. Age: Early 20th century Size: Height 55.5" Length 27.5"

Tan and stone white Alabastro Sfumato fume fish figural decanter. Fish has his tail up, with long back fins, and big, smiling lips. Clear decanter base. Produced by Seguso for Luxardo in the 1960's. Stands 12 5/8 inches (32.1 cm) Tall. Original labels for Luxardo, and made in Italy. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Chinese carved celadon jade: pebble, now mounted as a pendant and with a fish and basket in high relief, hollowed out and with some openwork. Size; Length of pebble is 2 inches, no condition concerns.
An attractive, colorful frit paperweight showing a pair of hearts shot through with an arrow and surrounded by a laurel wreath and the word "Friendship," all against a bright mottled umbrella ground. The pontil is ground and frosted. The glass is nicely free of striae and bubbles. The quality of workmanship is quite good, and the weight is certainly the handiwork of one of the better West Virginia glass makers, possibly Gentile.

Green and yellow duck figural on a clear decanter in the form of a rock formation (or iceberg?. Seguso made these decanters for Luxardo in the 1960's. Height of the duck/decanter is 12 inches (30cm). Condition is very good with no chips, cracks or repairs, tiny rough spot to underside of one wing tip. Unsigned. Please note: the blue water in the deacanter was added only to take the photo, and will not be present when shipped.
This large, heavy vase stands 11 inches (28cm) tall and tapers to 9.5 inches (24cm) wide at the opening. The rim of vase is gently scalloped. The clear ice-blue color of the glass is typical of Stromberg, and the vase is signed in script "strombergshyttan B99" to the base. Condition of the vase is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Circa 1935/36

Pair of handblown footed compotes of clear smoky/bluish glass for Kosta by Vicke Lindstrand. Circa 1940, they both bear the engraved mark KOSTA/LH/1734 on the foot. Bowls measure 6 3/8 inches (16.2 cm) diameter and stand 6.25 inches (15.9 cm) tall. Condition is excellent with a couple of minor light surface scratches; no chips, cracks or repairs.

This is a woman's shawl from Waziristan in deep magenta, yellow and black, with a woven cotton field on the edges and silk thread throughout. It measures 123 cm in width and 249.9 cm in length. Estimated age early to mid 20th century. Waziristan is entirely populated by ethnic Pashtuns and is named after the Wazir tribe. Condition is good, some staining to be expected from normal wear.
An interesting Japanese cloisonne hexagonal vase decorated with motifs of chrysanthemums. The cloisonne is done in a technique aka-sukashi, ginbari, where the metal base contains a pattern which is showing through the red cloisonne glaze. Above the metal base is the cloisonne work of chrysanthemum flowers with a bird flying in the distance. On the rim of the foot, two marks can be seen...
