Oribe is a visual style named after the late-16th-century tea master Furuta Oribe (1544-1615). This amazing bracelet is one of Antonio Pineda's most important and impressive designs and is often referred to as the "Cage" Bracelet. Gilded Age sterling silver blackberry bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Round well; sides tapering with chased outsized leaf border. Scrolled and open turned down rim with applied c-scrolls, leaves, berries, and diaper. A great high-low design with wild fruit wrought in precious metal. German 800 silver figural bird spice box, ca 1900. A raven with hunched shoulders, tucked-down wings, and spindly legs; detachable head downturned with pensive eyes and long pointed beak. Edwardian sterling silver butter dish, ca 1900. Round and deep well. Applied wide and cast rim with open leafing scrollwork and flowers. Liner has ornamental piercing. Fully marked including stamp for Roger Williams, a Providence maker that merged other makers to form the Mt Vernon Company, which in turn was acquired by Gorham in 1913. Also, retailer’s stamp (Foster & Co.) and no. 71S. Very good condition.

German 800 silver playing card box, ca 1920. Rectangular with straight sides. Cover hinged with chamfered tab; top flat with two glazed windows faced with a King of Hearts and Queen of Spades. Interior wood-lined and partitioned with ribbon tabs. Leather-lined bottom. With cards. Perfect for a quiet evening at home. Marks include maker’s stamp HB (probably Hermann Bauer). Set of 12 Edwardian sterling silver holders. Made by Schofield in Baltimore, ca 1910. Each: Round and curved bowl with floral repousse; open bottom and plain spread foot. High-looping side handles with case repousse-style floral ornament. With: Cream porcelain inserts with gilt rim bands. Originally intended for bouillon but perfect for rich treats like ice cream and custard. Holders marked “Sterling” with maker’s mark. Inserts have maker's mark (Lenox). Very good condition.

Art Deco sterling silver box. Made by Henry Matthews in Birmingham in 1927. Square with straight and plain sides. Cover hinged, tabbed, and chamfered. On top parcel gilt with engine-turned ornament with wavy lines between honeycomb; sizes have diaper in trapezoidal frames. Cedar-lined interior; open leather-lined bottom. Fully marked. Very good condition with some gilding loss.
