A rare sterling silver modernist necklace by Phyllis Sklar, American Mid Century jeweler. This piece has a sterling wire overlay on a darkened, oxidized surface adorned with an oval moonstone cabochon, three small pearls, a green bezel set stone, (maybe jade) and dangles of pale green and dark red bezel set cabochons.

Measures 16 1/2" long with a 1 3/4" drop in the center. Has the stylized 'p' hallmark, phyllis and sterling on the back.

A rare flower and dove bracelet, #23 in sterling silver with Chrysoprase cabochons designed by the Danish silversmith, Georg Jensen. Marked with the stylized GJ in a rectangle that dates it between 1933-44. Also marked with Sterling, Denmark, 925 and 23 for the style number.

Measures 7" long and 1" at the widest. Weighs 35 gr. Has a round box closure that holds securely. Additionally it has a fold over safety catch.

RARE modernist sterling and rhodochrosite bracelet by Theodor Fahrner, Germany, c.1960's. This famed maker closed shop in the 1970's and produced a very small output of modernist designs. The substantial bracelet is made of heavy gauge silver(weighs 3 troy oz or 90 gms) and measures 7" long. A very rare piece of hand wrought sterling silver modernist jewelry by the San Francisco Metalsmith, Harry Dixon.

This unusual massive cuff bracelet has a large spinach green and yellow striated raised agate. Very three dimensional.

Measures 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1 1/8". Does not have much flexibilty. Measures 2 7/8" wide at the front. Weighs 105 gr.

Marked with a stamped Harry Dixon and Sterling.

Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

Modernist handmade 14k and amethysts pin by the very famous Danish designer, Hans Hansen(1884-1940). This wonderful architectural design is a very simple curved pin with an amethyst at either end. Made of very heavy gauge gold, it is signed "HANS HANSEN(in script) DENMARK 585 #104" and is in excellent condition. Of good size, it measures 2 1/2" long. A Georg Jensen sterling silver double tulip pin and earrings set in a red Georg Jensen New York box. The brooch measures 1-3/4 x 1-3/8" and has a safety catch and it matches the 7/8" x 5/8" clip-on earrings. Excellent, elegant circa 1940s necklace by William Spratling, arguably the most important name in Mexican Silver. Heavy for it's size, this solid liquid silver necklace is constructed of hollow silver bars over seven silver chains of variying lengths. This design is understated, and extremely rare. The shortest chain measures just under 15" in length. The necklace is authentic and bears Spratling's circa 1940s stamp. Excellent vintage condition.

An important, rare modernist brooch by the renowned African American jeweler, Art Smith. Has a copper ball caged in swirled brass coils. The ball moves for an interesting effect.

Measures 3 1/4" long and 2 3/8" at the widest. Marked with the 'Art Smith' script signature. Has a secure rollover clasp. In fine condition with areas of tarnish.

Structuralist bracelet & earring set by noted modernist Paul Lobel, who produced innovative jewlery in his New York studio in the 1950s. Consisting of ridgid sterling silver links and matching earrings with their original srew-back mechanisms. The bracelet has an integrated hidden hook clasp. Bracelet measures over 7.25" long and the earrings hang 1 3/8." Signed "Lobel, Sterling" as shown. Excellent vintage condition.

This rare set of five hand wrought 1930's sterling silver heart shaped buttons were designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling in the 1930's. Each button measures 3/4" X 3/4". All are in beautiful condition & each is signed on the reverse with the early WS hallmark. In our 30+ years of collecting Spratling we have never come across this design.
