A very rare well-potted and painted 8.25" Ko-Imari model of a standing boy reaching into an urn. The boy's face is painted with black hair and features a gilt head band. Both his robe and the urn are painted in blue, orange and iron red.

Sculpture of a long-nosed tanuki, walking with a hat on its back and a flask in its left paw. The piece is built around a large piece of root wood that comprises the torso, legs, the enlarged scrotum and tail. The head is a separate piece of root wood, the ears inserted. The sake flask is a small piece of root wood, and the hat is carved from a slab of a different wood species.

This unusual massive cuff bracelet has a large spinach green and yellow striated raised agate. Very three dimensional.

Measures 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1 1/8". Does not have much flexibilty. Measures 2 7/8" wide at the front. Weighs 105 gr.

Vintage lithographed tin Halloween pan noisemaker, decorated in green, black, white and orange. The decorations include a witch, a ghost and a skeleton around a cauldron. The edges are decorated with jack o'lanterns, owls, bats and black cats. Marked "US Metal Toy Mfg. Co. Made In U.S.A." Very nice condition, some scratching where metal clappers hit against pan, very light rust on the unpainted clappers. Circa 1940s. 7-7/8" long.

Cedar wooden ‘post-hide’ or hashira kakushi that is used as a decoration of the vertical post in a room that is not a corner post, or the vertical post of the tokonoma (niche). This rare set of five hand wrought 1930's sterling silver heart shaped buttons were designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling in the 1930's. Each button measures 3/4" X 3/4". All are in beautiful condition & each is signed on the reverse with the early WS hallmark. In our 30+ years of collecting Spratling we have never come across this design.

This is a really great set of 'Little Hostess' Children's Party Play Dishes made by Hazel Atlas in the early 1950s. This sixteen piece set includes four 5 1/4 inch plates (2 pink and 2 black), four pink cups, four black saucers, a pink creamer, pink sugar and pink teapot bottom with black lid, in the original box.
