Turn-of-the-century sterling silver baby set rich in period assumptions. Made by William B. Kerr in Newark. This set comprises cup, bowl, and plate.

Cup has acid-etched frieze depicting sailor-suited, flag-holding, all-American boy with exotic coevals in native dress relegated to background. Imagery enhanced with verse: “Little Indian, Sioux or Crow, little frosty Eskimo, little Turk or Japanese—Oh! Don’t you wish that you were me?”

Imperial Chrysanthemum sterling silver soup ladle. Made by Gorham in Providence, ca 1900. Tapering stem with waisted terminal and lobed round bowl. Dense ornament with flowers and leaves. Bowl interior gilt-washed with same. A nice serving piece in the late-comer Japonesque pattern, which was first produced in 1894. Fully marked including maker’s stamp. Very good condition.

Sterling silver base comprising pierced cylinder on urn mount terminating in upward tapering shaft on raised foot with reeded rim. Crystal vessel with wavy petal rim and bellied bowl terminating in cone encased in tapering cylinder. Pretty acid-etched flowers with cut stems and petals. Pair of early Etruscan sterling silver covered serving dishes. Made by Moore for Tiffany & Co. at 550 Broadway in New York. Each: Oval bowl with everted rim. Cover domed; top has cast leaf-wrapped and reeded twist-lock ring handle for converting to a second serving dish; armorial engraved on side. Beaded and fretwork borders. Bellied bowl with drum-form neck, flared rim, and capped s-scroll handle; raised and stepped foot. Shaped frame (vacant) with chased scrolling leaf surround, and leaf and flower bands. Foot has cast egg-and-dart border. Handwork visible on interior. Lovely with strong regional association. Marks include “J.H. Connor” and “G. Eoff” stamps. Very good condition with nice patina.
