Oribe is a visual style named after the late-16th-century tea master Furuta Oribe (1544-1615). This amazing bracelet is one of Antonio Pineda's most important and impressive designs and is often referred to as the "Cage" Bracelet. Crafted in Antonio's favored 970 grade silver it is a massive piece measuring 7 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide at the front tapering to 1" at the back and it weighs an impressive 134.4 grams. These elegant earrings by Antonio Pineda have a great modernist design with their gorgeous combination of silver and deep Black Onyx stones. They measure 1/2" X 1/2" and together they weigh 12.2 grams. Hallmarked on both earrings with the Antonio Taxco crown they are in good vintage condition with minor age related wear and tarnish and the screw backs are in good working order. Art Nouveau glass claret jug with engraved silver overlay. Made by Alvin Corp. in Providence, ca 1900. Cylindrical with small lip spout and spread base; c-scroll handle in silver collar. On underside cut-to-clear star. Overlay in form of entwined and scrolling fruiting grapevine with pendant bunches and leaves. Asymmetrical scrolled cartouche engraved with interlaced script monogram. Silver fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. R326. Very good condition.
