Pierced Leather Travel Liquor set, in the style of Jacques Adnet with varying sized randomly placed circles, holds two liquor bottles. One is a decanter of blown glass with a top and bottom of bright chrome, with two shot glasses under the cap; the other is a bright chrome thermos (glass insert) with a rubber gasketed plastic stopper. Extremely Rare Poupee (doll) from the Louis Vuitton Toy Shop. Doll is pre-1941. Made from a type of plastic (celluloid?) with delicate hand painted features, dressed in a detailed regional costume of Bretagne (Brittany). Her original hang tag reads Je m'appelle/DONATIENNE/mon pays est/Batz sur Mer/en Bretagne which roughly translated is "My name is DONATIENNE and my land is Batz sur Mer in Brittany". Batz-sur-Mer was part of Brittany until 1941 when it was separated by the Vichy government...

Rarely found as a pair, this set of laundry Sprinkler (boy) and Wetter Downer (girl) is in excellent condition as well. There is some crazing but that is to be expected since these held water. The colors on the pair are excellent and have not faded. The girl has a cork in the base, and the boys metal sprinkler top is perfect - no dents or rust. No cracks or chips on either figure.
