Mirror imaged pair of Chinese planters with attached bases painted. These tapered square planters have a design of birds and flowers on opposite sides with writing and a red seal and on the adjacent sides a poem along with additional two red seals. Painted in white on the outside with a slightly orange peel ground effect. The insides are lightly glazed. The bases are recessed with the corner mounts left un-glazed. These planters are quite heavy.

Pair of antique hand painted eight lobed pottery urns with handles made by Thomas Forester and Sons. Each alternating lobe has a design of hand painted flowers against a cream background surrounded by a dark blue lobe hand-painted with gilt flowers and other design motifs. The collar of the urns, handles as well as the urn head also painted in the same rich dark blue with gilt. The inside of the urn is painted in gilt. The base glazed white with the trademark incised in brown.

A Chinese Jizhou conical bowl decorated on the inside with a pattern of six paper cut prunis blossoms reserved in a dark brown glaze on top of a lighter brown glaze thinning to the lighter brown glaze at the rim. The reverse in the same glaze with the base left bare revealing the buff coloured body.

I believe that this was done with the lost wax method.

Chinese famille rose porcelain double gourd vase with various flowers and butterflies painted on a white ground. The base border is painted with alternating bats, flowers and fruits all in iron red. The top rim is covered in gilt, complete with an iron red surrounding border. In the middle is a ribbon. The inside is glazed white, as well as the base with the base rim left unglazed. In the center of the base is a four character over-glaze iron red Jiaqing mark 1796-1820.

A Chinese antique pear shaped snuff bottle done in glass overlay with four colours on an opaque white ground. The bottle of compressed ovoid form raising from an oval foot to a tall cylindrical neck. One carved side shows a bird perched on a tall branch holding fruit. On this side the maker has also affixed his mark, from Yangzhou School. On the reverse it shows a bird with overhead butterflies and insects hovering over lily pods in the water. A wave design base border covers all sides.
