A hard cover with green cloth boards and dust jacket published in 1936 by Charles Scribner & Sons. First edition/first printing with "A" noted along with the Scribner seal.The pages have toning, there is a name inscribed on the front free paper and also a note in pencil on the back paste down. The jacket has small tears, and some paper loss along the edges 602pp.

A stated first edition published in 1932 by Doubleday Doran & Co. Black cloth boards with gilt lettering. There is a faint smudge on page 11, the textblock has some darkening especially at the lower corner, the back board shows some fading, and there is a small notation in pencil on the back free paper - otherwise the book is in fine condition. No dust jacket. 314pp.

Possibly an unstated first edition written by Donald G. Mitchell. The book has green cloth boards with gilt lettering and gilt top. Published in 1897 by Charles Scribner. The cover shows light wear, an owner's name in pencil is on the free paper and the book is slightly cocked. Pages 235 on have some type of very faint stain at the corners. 7¾" - 9¾" 294pp.

Here is an early, collectible hard cover edition of "The Eternal Companion: Brahmananda, His Life and Teachings" by Swami Prabhavananda. Published in 1947 by Vedanta Press, Hollywood CA.Blue boards ( showing some wear/spotting on the spine)with gilt lettering. No marks, no dust jacket, pages have toning. 246pp.

A catalog written by William Ezelle Jones and published in 1977 by the Los Angeles County Museum. The cover shows minor paper loss at the edges and there is a pen mark on the back free paper otherwise the book is fine. Forty four examples featured in B&W or colored photos. The cover shows some wear on the edges, with a smudge and bump on the front.The end papers have yellowed- otherwise fine. 76pp.

Framed and matted under glass, a vibrant watercolor featuring workers in the rice fields. Indistinct signature (Jalin 49 or Jalimus ?). Not examined out of frame. The frame measures 16" x 19-1/2".

Here is a wonderful gold charm bracelet with 18 charms weighing a hefty 82 grams. With the exception of a gilt silver enamel fish, all are either 14k or 18k. The sturdy 14k bracelet is marked 585 SVG and is perhaps Scandinavian. The enamel mandolin and lama in a circle are marked 18k. There is a marked 19k cuckoo clock. Those marked 14k include a pagoda, chimney sweep, bunch of bananas, cable car, Nefertiti, enamel beetle, and a New Bedford fishing charm(man with harpoon). These remaining char...

Ca 1920 A hand hammered oblong sterling napkin ring with no monogram. Marked International Sterling 194 along with a W (for Watson). 2-7/8" x 3/4" ~ 21.3 grams.

An interesting silver case with enameled hunter shooting at ducks. No marks. The opening measures 2-3/16" round and the piece is 3-1/2" (h) x 4-1/2"(w) x 1" Two holes for screws are on the back. There is a small dab of solder on the top inside. This appears to be silverplate and would benefit from a cleaning.

A three piece carving set with stag horn handles. The blade has light wear and is marked accordingly. The red shagreen box's satin insert has some brown staining.
