Unusual pair of colorful Copeland vases. Some signs of wear, i.e., a small chip on the base of one and light scuff marks. 7" x 3 1/2"

Ca1930 A sterling set with small marcasites and cultured pearls by German designer, Theodor Fahrner. One tiny marcasite is missing on an earring. The screwback earrings hang 2.25"; the pin measures 2" round. Each are marked 925 along with the TF logo.

Here is a fabulous piece of crewel which may be used as either a coverlet, wall hanging or rug. The crewel is 100% wool and has a linen backing. Issues: the backing needs to be re-tacked in certain areas, there is minor staining,and the crewel is pilling in a few areas. We prefer not to clean it. Measures 40" x 67".

Ca 1892 An ornately stamped gilt metal blue chalcedony (dyed agate) bracelet in original condition with detailed crimped frames and expandable panels all accented by flowerheads and small opals. The stones' facets and tables show light wear; one stone has a small chip on a table facet, another has a small section missing adjacent the setting (please refer to pictures). Hidden box clasp and safety chain. There is some darkening to the metal. A lovely piece sold as is. 7 -1/4".

Stated first edition of the three-act play, "The Autumn Garden" by Lillian Helman. This play was performed on Broadway in 1951 at the Coronet Theatre and actor James Lipton (who now hosts the PBS show, The Actors Studio) is noted as a cast member.Copyright 1951 by Little, Brown and Co. Ca 1900 Arts & Crafts stained oak frame with copper flower embellishments and a Moseley Ware (stamped on back) painted glass insert.(This is possibly George Moseley, one of the Terrible Seven apprentices at the Royal Worcester factory.) The back label reads " William Talbot, Carver, Guilder and Picture Frame Manufacturer. Old work re-guilt and made equal to new. 24 Market Street Bury." At one point, there was a small split in the wood that was professionally restored - the repair is not evide...

Rare hardbound copy of the Pall Mall Illustrated Magazine, edited by Lord Frederic Hamilton. Staining on the frontispiece, title and index pages; front half of the book has light staining on the edges.

Featured on page 111 of Costume Jewelers The Golden Age of Design by Joanne D. Ball. Sensational (3) piece set with three- strand necklace and bracelet with spiky brushed gold beads accented by faceted spacers. Strung on string. Marked (crown) Trifari on clasps. The necklace is 18" with an additional 3" extender, the bracelet, 7-1/2". The earrings are for pierced ears and hang 1". The earrings are unmarked.

Here is a compelling full page ad that was featured in the New York Times, May 10, 1970. "Finally Your Senator Can Vote to End the War. Angry Americans. Saddened Americans....Your kids shouldn't go to college to get killed... Support the peace amendment sponsored by McGovern, Hatfield, Goodell Cranston & Hughes." Paper has yellowed and is folded and the names of senators who supported the amendment have been underlined in ink.

Anonymous- no date nor publisher. Text is in Italian, German, English and French. There are 40 (vedute) black and white prints (appox. 4-1/2" x 7") of various locations. No marks but two small tears and spots on the cover and one smudge on another page (not on picture) and on the back cover. Silk tie holds the booklet( 9-1/2" x 6-1/2") together.

First edition hardcover published by Doubleday in 1963.A major retrospective of Steichen's work, designed by Kathleen Haven and produced in collaboration with MOMA. Dustjacket a bit worn - interior in good condition. Slightly musty. 234 full page reproductions.

A winter scene print by noted watercolorist and illustrator, Howard Watson. Watson was the "Artist in Residence" at the White House during the Carter Administration.There are tiny thumbtack punctures at the very end corners of the print(not impacting the print and not visible). Professionally framed, the print measures approximately 23" x 20" (probably larger but not measured out of frame). The frame itself is 28-1/2" x 25".

Four heavy, etched coasters. Unpolished with some wear and staining. 4" round.

One of a kind gypsy outfit with a long, colorful chiffon skirt, matching taffeta slip and a small bustier encrusted with sequins and stones.Made in the early '80's by a New York seamstress who designed for Las Vegas showgirls.The waistbands on both the slip and skirt need to be replaced since they have stretched.

Ca 1950 Arts and Crafts style candlesticks marked Hecho en Mexico. The base on one has two small bumps. 3-3/4" x 2-1/4"

White silk overalls with jacket. Jacket (back) shoulder to shoulder seam is 14"; length of back (collar to hem) is 26-3/4"; shoulder seam to wrist/sleeve 22". Overalls:shoulder to hem- 53"; thigh width (widest area/ middle of thigh) 10"

A silver charm/pendant or talisman. The bottom metal has light depressions where it appears to have been flattened before being added to the piece. No marks and untested. 1-1/4" x 1-1/2"

Part of the Collector's Pieces series. Small hardcover published by Walker & Co New York and printed in Hong Kong in 1969. 64 pages. B&W photos along with various Spode marks.The front end sheet is slightly separating and front cover is very slightly warped.

Nicely framed. Numbered 230 on the right hand corner. Framed measurements 20-3/4" X 13-1/2"

Signed artist's proof entitled "Cake Dreams"...A contemporary, award- winning artist, Leviten (1928-2014) was known for her abstract monoprints and collages. Exhibitions: RISD Museum, El Paso Museum, Dan Forth Museum and in the Institute del Arte La Paz, Mexico. Leviten was also an active member of the Providence Art Club. Frame measures 15" x 16"; print approximately 8" x 10"

The bag shows some wear...There is a slight crease/ bulge on the bottom near one foot, wear on the handle and faint white spotting on the bottom that runs up a quarter of the way.. Sold as is. 8" x 11-1/2"

Here is a rare and wonderful photo collage of scenes from the building of the Alaskan Highway (completed in 1943.) Original snapshots. The center photo highlights what appears to be the official ribbon cutting; sixteen photos surround it. Below is a cartoon of a bear taking a picture of a man. Not examined out of the frame. 13" x 15".

An 18kt white gold transitional Art Deco ring with emerald cabochon stone and 34 bezel set diamonds (one has a very tiny chip on the corner of the table facet). The diamonds range in size from 5-6 points (total carat weight is approximately 1.75+) Ornate pierced setting. The emerald's surface does show some wear (appropriate for age) and there are some inclusions/flaws. The emerald measures 1/2" x 3/8" . Size 6.25

Ca 1900 A hollow gold Victorian cross marked in a cartouche WHH 15. 625 with anchor (for Birmingham) and an "a." 1-3/8" x 3/4" including bale(not link). (Willliam Hair Haseler)

An early 20thC oil on canvas by Rhode Island artist, Emma Lavinia Swan ( 1853-1927). This is an atypical and rare scene since Swan is noted from her floral paintings. It appears to have its original black wood frame. Signed in the lower right hand corner. The canvas measures 9" x 9"; frame 17" x 17". Listed/Davenports.

Ca 1920 A European yellow gold filigree bracelet. The ten point bezel set diamond is accented by two square cut synthetic sapphires. Under magnification, the diamond appears a tiny bit offset in its illusion setting (white gold or platinum-not tested), but this is not evident to the naked eye. Marked 585 for 14kt. 7-1/2" x 1/8"~ 11.4 grams.

"A House-Boat on the River Styx: with some account of the divers doings of the associated shades" written by John Hendrick Bangs and published by Harper & Bros.,NY 1896. This appears to be a second edition. A lovely little book with illustrated green cloth boards stamped in gilt.Very slight fading on the spine. Black and white illustrations/plates.The pages are tight though they have yellowed and there are faint water stains along the edge of all pages though more pronounced on the last thr...
