Beautiful pair of hand made sterling and ebony LEAF trays by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1950. They match item #273200 which is a very large matching LEAF tray by Los Castillo. Hand hammered and beautifully sculpted, each measures 11" long by 3 1/2" wide. Each is signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MEXICO HANDWROUGHT 118 (bellmark) 15". Large and important 14K modernist design butterfly ring by famed jeweler Alfred Karram, NYC, c.1970's. It is signed "KARRAM 14K" and is size 5 - 5 1/2, depending on which side you put the ring on. Can be sized by a good jeweler. Made of heavy gauge gold and weighs 1/2 troy oz. Quite large, the design measures 1 3/4"long, 7/8" wide, and is 5/8" high. Unique modernist design 14k and stone ring. The square faceted stone is a bit less than 1/2 carat, and is assumed to be an almondine garnet, but could possibly be another gem stone. Amethyst sterling screwback earrings by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1947. They each have a cabochon amethyst which measures 3/4" in diameter. They are appropriately signed. One of the stones has a natural fracture(see photo #1) which is very highlighted in the ENLARGED photo #1, but does not appear that way in person. Very early 980 silver FISH clip by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. It is signed "WS TAXCO 980" and measures 1 3/4" square and is worn vertically with the fish head facing downwards. Excellent condition except for a pinpoint dent at the middle of the face. Can be repaired by adding silver to that area but please check with your jeweler.
