Bright 14k opal heart pendant necklace and earrings(pierced) in original hard case box(marked 14k), c.1950's. Real opals, not doublets. The NECKLACE is an open gold heart(3/4" long) and holds an oval opal(approx.4 carats) on an 18" gold chain. The EARRINGS are for pierced ears and are signed "14K". Striking, hand made, and large sterling MAYAN face BOLO made by MIGUEL and sold at RANCHO ALLEGRE, the largest silver shop in Taxco, during the 1960's-70's. The design shows a darkened silver background which highlights the shiny silver face, decorative element, and edge. The bolo measures 2" wide by 1 3/4" long and the decorative silver ends measure 1 1/4" long. The black fabric tie measures 39" long and has a small wear spot to the fabric but can be worn with no trouble or weakness...

Rare and large sterling art nouveau woman-reading-book "Letter Clip" by Unger Brothers, 1904. One of the most beautiful and rare designs and function, this lush piece measures a generous 2 3/4" by 2 1/4". It is signed "UB STERLING 925 FINE" and is in PERFECT condition. There is an original waffled piece of silver inside the clip so that it protects the piece(see photo 3). This piece, known as a "LETTER CLIP" is shown in the Eden Sterling reprint of the 1904 Unger Bros. Catalog on pg. 118...

Early hand made eye/eyelash sterling and matrix turquoise earrings by famous modernist Sam Kramer, NYC, c.1955. Each matrix turquoise comes from a different mine - one is greenish turquoise with black material (right) and the other is blue turquoise with brown(left) material. Obviously hand made, with each earring charmingly differently shaped than the other. They each measure approx. 1 1/8" long by 3/4"-1" wide. Each is signed STERLING mushroom mark(for Kramer) and are in excellent condition...
