HUGE sterling and onyx Mexican faces sun calendar by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. Quite large and extremely heavy(weighs 80 grams), it measures 3 1/4" in diameter and is signed "SPRATLING SILVER" and "WS MADE IN MEXICO SPRATLING". Hand made silver and cornelian modernist pin/pendant, possibly Israeli, c.1960's. Large and of good weight, this abstract design, measures 3" long by 1 1/2" wide. It is signed with a partial mark on the loop that seems to be Israeli. When worn with a chain, it is worn vertically, and, horizontally, when worn as a pin. The cornelian is bezel set. Glorious large handmade modernist silver and enamel pin showing three fish swimming. The greatness of this pin is the overlapping of the fish as well as the silver and the enamel. Made of very heavy gauge silver and of good size, it measures almost 3" by 1 3/4". The enamel colors are: turquoise(water), light brown/black/red(fish#1), yellow/brown(fish#2), and green/white(fish#3). Excellent condition, except for small turquoise enamel damage on the far right corner...

Set of 12 period art deco classic design initialed sterling place card holders, c.1920's. Each piece has the art deco lettering initials "FVG" set in in a recessed oxydized background and are marked "STERLING". They measure 1 5/16" wide by 13/16" high by 3/4" deep(going toward the back). Each securely holds the place card with piece at back(see photo). Excellent condition. High deco design - wonderful set - even with initials, which strongly enhances the period style...

Large dimensional brown and tan agate silver pin. The stone is set in a scalloped handmade silver bezel. Of good size, the pin measures 2" by 1 3/8". Wonderfully designed hand made necklace by MAYA, Mexico, c.1950's after a Hubert Harmon design. Maya frequently copied Harmon designs. Looks just like silver with a great patina, but probably made of silver plate because there are no Mexican silver marks. The locking mechanism is separated from the main part by black velvet ribbon. Of large scale, the largest irregular square measures 2" wide by 1 3/4" high and the necklace measures 15 1/2" around...
