Early sterling bolo with Mayan design on a brown leather braided thong with the fabulous cactus-design ends, Mexico, c.1942. Hand made of heavy gauge silver, the bolo(1 1/8" long by 1 1/4" wide) shows a framed Mayan figure with a recessed oxydized background highlighting the figure. The two ends are silver cactii(each 1 3/8" long)...

Charming, dimensional, and original design pin with applied silver man/scissors/flora, and applied brass and copper, and set in textured copper. Period art nouveau lovely and large sterling floral pin. c.1900. Fully backed, the design has five flowers connected by a stem(made of silver wire). Of very good size, it measures 2 5/8" wide by 2 3/8" long and is signed "STERLING". The front is in PERFECT condition and the back has a replaced c-clasp base and there are some scratches. Striking, hand made, and large sterling MAYAN face BOLO made by MIGUEL and sold at RANCHO ALLEGRE, the largest silver shop in Taxco, during the 1960's-70's. The design shows a darkened silver background which highlights the shiny silver face, decorative element, and edge. The bolo measures 2" wide by 1 3/4" long and the decorative silver ends measure 1 1/4" long. The black fabric tie measures 39" long and has a small wear spot to the fabric but can be worn with no trouble or weakness...
