Very large, rare, and heavy gauge sterling pin by the famous woman Mexican silversmith, Victoria (Ana Brilanti), c. 1945. The original geometric Mayan design measures 4" wide and 2 1/4" long and the applied silver provides the exciting foreground against an oxydized background. Long sterling necklace, c.1960's. Consisting of three vertical parts with a 24" link chain that has 3 hand made sections. Each framed section measures 2 1/4" wide by 1 1/2" high. Gorgeous period art nouveau sheath with nude woman playing the harp sitting in the ocean waves with birds flying above by Unger Brothers, Newark, c.1905. The sheath probably held and can hold a comb, nail file, etc. and measures 3 7/8" long by 13/16" wide and the opening is 1/8" thick(so item should be a bit thinner) by 3/4" long. The design goes all the way around including the narrow edges. It is signed "UB STERLING 925 FINE UB" and is in very good condition...

Pair of floral design period retro sterling, turquoise, and rubies scatter pins, c.1940's. They each have five curved and crimped petals with a 4-pronged ruby(5 points each) between each petal and a center turquoise stone. There are a total of 10 rubies. Each pin measures 1 1/4" in diameter and is 1/2" high. Unusual and very cute. Excellent condition, except that one ruby has a small "bite" but is held firmly in place by the prongs...

Unusual and lovely signed early 1960's amethysts, silver, and enamel butterfly necklace. Beautiful golden brown, white, yellow,& turquoise blue enamel butterfly with 2 oval cabochon amethysts on a light blue enamel background. This is constructed on heavy gauge silver and the back is royal blue, golden brown and black enamel. The scalloped silver sides provide a frame for the work and it measures a generous 1 7/8" in diameter. The piece is signed "V" in a circle...

Modernist handmade large-scale necklace by WIGGERS, DENMARK, c.1960's. The applied top layer of modernist design is handmade silver and tiger eye and are atop two squares of silver-plate. The hand made heavy gauge silver chain is 30" long. The top plaque measures 1 1/2" square and the lower plaque measures 1 3/4" by 1 12/". When worn, the necklace is 18 1/2" long. Modernist handmade necklace signed "SAM W. GRAVES STERLING", c.1950's. It combines an art deco and Native American feel in an interesting geometric chevron design. Not certain, but I believe that Sam Graves was a contemporary of Frank Patania and H. Fred Skaggs, working in the southwest. This hollow silver necklace shows a high degree of craftsmanship. There are 3 sections connected by a paper clip chain. The middle section measures 2 1/4" by 1". Each side section measures 1 7/8" by 3/4"...

Sterling bangle by California silversmith, Allan Adler, c.1960's. Handmade and of heavy gauge silver, it measures 2 3/8" diameter and is 3/4" wide. This very substantial piece has a decorative braiding on each side of the sheet silver. It is signed "ALLAN ADLER STERLING" and is in excellent condition.
