Very large hand made modernist sterling snake ring by Novak, c.1970's. This ring is part of a one-of-a-kind collection by Novak, a modernist silversmith with original concepts and wonderful execution. The design shows a snake peering from a piece of crimped and folded silver and measures 1 3/8" long by 3/4" wide by 1" high. The thick band is 1/4" wide and is size 5 3/4/...

Silver dragon head pin copying that of William Spratling by Serafin Moctezuma, Mexico, c.1950's. Much to the annoyance of Spratling, Moctezuma copied his designs, including the mark "SM", which when turned upside down, looks like a stylized WS, similar to that of Spratling. This great little Mayan dragon head, stands on its own and is quite charming. The pin measures 1 3/8" long by 1" wide. It is signed "980 SM TAXCO" and is in excellent condition...

Wonderful post modern hand made sterling and gold ring by Novak, c. 1970's. Of very large dimension, the design shows a soaring bird with a gold head flying high above the band. The gold is directly soldered to the silver. The wing span measures 1 7/8" wide and stands 1" above the band and is size 8 1/4. Beautiful red wood jacket with richly appliqued figures, Mexico, c.1940's. There are large man and woman figures on back and donkey, cactus, guitar, ceramics, etc on front and sleeves. There are two front pockets and the edges have sewn wool stitching all around. Interesting collar design(see photo). Small size - approx. size 4. Early sterling bolo with Mayan design on a brown leather braided thong with the fabulous cactus-design ends, Mexico, c.1942. Hand made of heavy gauge silver, the bolo(1 1/8" long by 1 1/4" wide) shows a framed Mayan figure with a recessed oxydized background highlighting the figure. The two ends are silver cactii(each 1 3/8" long)...
