Vermeil or silver gilt shoe buckle set with paste, the setting arranged as a ribbon with a stripe of green enamel. French, c 1770-80, no visible hallmarks, but traces of an old assay to ascertain the silver content. Length "3/ 7.3 cm. Condition: wear to the enamel and to the gilt of the prongs (cf. pics).

Wedgwood blue jasper ware bead pendant. Jasper ware, invented and introduced by Josiah W in the late 18th century, was a success in the neoclassical period around 1800.The extremely finely moulded white ornaments are fixed to unglazed blue stoneware to create a carved cameo effect. The bead is Georgian, from the last years of the 18th century, whereas the silver gilt chain is later, c 1900. It is stamped Sterling and has a Swedish import mark (three crowns in an oval and an S)...

Silver gilt earrings from the years just after the French Revolution, with hallmarks used 1798 – 1809. “Poissarde” (fishmonger’s wife) model with hinges fastening in the front motif, in this case a faceted ball. The little loops stopped the earrings from sliding forwards in front of the ear lobes. Diameter "1 / 2.8 cm. Condition: fine.

Victorian gold pendant, carefully wrought to resemble a gnarled piece of wood - an example of the naturalistic style often seen in jewelry of the 1860's and 70's. With impressed 14K mark and probably made in England. Height (without the hoop) "1 ½ / 4.1 cm, weight 5.8 grams. The black velvet ribbon on the photos is included in the price. Condition: fine. Gold-filled cross pendant, 1880s French Louis XVI revival, the centre with a pink mabe pearl. Height of the cross "2 ¼ / 6, width "1 ½ / 4 cm. Condition: some age wear.

Large Ottoman part belt buckle half, 19th century. Classic Paisley (teardrop) shape. Repoussé and engraved decoration of an eagle surrounded by flowers. Use of both hook and backside bars will make the buckle a perfect and beautiful pendant. The back with engraved name “Aine” in European lettering. Height "3 ½/ 9 cm, weight 49 grams. Condition: fine.

Beautiful antique brooch with three pendants. Silver and paste, unmarked, France c 1870’s. Height "1 ¾ / 4.5 cm, width "1 ½ / 3.8 cm. Condition: fine.

Filigree comb, Spanish or French, c 1880, no marks, gilt metal, possibly silver gilt. Height c "4/ 10.5 cm, width "3 ½ / 8.5 cm. Condition: partial loss to one lily ornament (cf. pics).

Victorian hinged bracelet made by Bernhard Hertz. Surprisingly modern design of two rope ends, one polished and gilt, the other appears to be twisted. The surface of the bracelet is matted, satinized. BH was a well-known jewelry designer working in Copenhagen and in Stockholm at the turn of the century 1900. Signed BH...

A gold vermeil / gilt brass bangle with engraved steel applications of acanthus leaves. Victorian (English) or possibly French, c 1850. To be opened and shut through two little knobs in a steel monogram. Inner circumference when shut "6 2/3 / 17 cm Condition: could do with some professional care, part of the application is missing (cf. pics), still beautiful.
