A long-necked original bronze vase with a rounded body. The top of the slender neck has a ring midway and swells out at the mouth in the shape of a garlic bulb, giving the vase its special name. It has a nice aging patina. It can be cleaned but I wouldn't recommend it.

Period: Western Han (206BC - 25AD)

Size: Height = 32 cm (12.6 inches) Condition: A small dent on one side. Very good condition for its age.

A very rare bronze seal from the First Emperor period with the "ying-yang" impression. Yin is often symbolized by water or earth, while yang is symbolized by fire or wind. Age: 221 -206 BC. Size:L. 1.9cm W. 1cm. H. 1.2cm. Condition: No repairs. Incrustation from long burial. Can be cleaned.

A natural amber pendant with two bats, one on each side. The bats represent longevity and happiness. The bat and happiness sound is in the Chinese language is similar - both pronounced Fu. Size: L. 3cm. W. 2cm. Condition: No repairs, cracks or chips.

Unusual and rare pottery figure from the Han Dynasty of a soldier in uniform sitting on a stool with one leg folded under him. There are still some remains of a white slip. Size: H.9.5cm. Condition. No repairs.

A nice lacquer screen mirror used by Scholars in their work tables. The mirror is surrounded by the usual key fret design while the base is carved with the auspicious melon, peony and peach, representing longevity and prosperity. The mirror looks like it is the original mirror. Size: H. 62.5cm. W. at the base, 41.5cm. Condition: No repairs. Normal wear and some age cracks.

A nicely shaped glass ewer from ancient Rome. The piece was made with sheets of molten glass placed one on top of each other. This process was used at an early period in Rome. Age: First century. Bought at antique shop on Ponte Vecchio in Florence Italy 25 years ago. Size: H. 10.5cm W. 9cm

A very rare and unusual large Chinese scroll painting done in the Japanese style of a bird in a cage with a bamboo tree and netting. Some gold leaf work on the leaves. The wooden weight on the bottom of the scroll has carved bone tips. Comes with original signed box. Age: 19th century. Size: L.213.5cm. W.44cm. Condition: Very good. No repairs.

A 2,000 year rare carved center agate bead with three distinctive colors surrounded by round agate beads with gold spacers of the same period. The top of the necklace is made of ceramic beads from that period. Size: Center bead is 3.5 cm. (1.2 inches) Necklace is 48 cm. (19 inches) from end to end. Condition: Perfect.

A very rare set of cowrie shell money from the neolithic period in China. Twenty two shells in all strung together as a necklace as they were originally.The Chinese character for money originated from the cowrie shell. Age: 2000 to 1500 BC. A very rare Solid gold rare ear pick very finely made with an ornate chain made during the Pyu Dynasty that is now Burma. This is a very unusual gold item from that era.

The rare Gold Buddha is know as Bhumisparsa, the mudra of witness (earth touching). The hand with the palm turned inward and all the fingers extended downward touching the singhasana (pedestal supported by a lion) The gesture of touching the earth or calling the earth to witness commemorating Buddha's victory over temptation by the demon Mara. A Beautifully carved tube shaped jade. These item are extremely rare. It is not know what these were used for but it is thought to be for the hair ornament to hold the pony tail. Size: See Last photo
