A long-necked original bronze vase with a rounded body. The top of the slender neck has a ring midway and swells out at the mouth in the shape of a garlic bulb, giving the vase its special name. It has a nice aging patina. It can be cleaned but I wouldn't recommend it.

Period: Western Han (206BC - 25AD)

Size: Height = 32 cm (12.6 inches) Condition: A small dent on one side. Very good condition for its age.

Neolithic polished stone adze from Southeast Asia and we commonly used during the bronze age and some were placed as mortuary offerings. Size: L. 13 cm. W. 8.5cm. Condition: Normal chips along the edges.

A medium size pottery figure of a female attendant from the Han Dynasty.This is an original Han piece. There still a good amount of the original white slip remaining. Size H. 26cm. Condition: No repairs or breaks. Small chip on the nose.

Rare Pre Columbian necklace of agate, carnelian and quartz beads. The central pendant features a large-eyed, large-beaked terracotta bird that functions as a whistle that works and is loud an clear.There are 20 cylinder beads of agate and jasper and 2 cone-shaped crystal beads. Period: Pre-Columbian (500 BC) Condition: Small chip on the head of the whistle.

A rare miniature figure of Avalokitesvara (Buddha) (God of Compassion) on a plinth. The head is surrounded by a halo. The figure was originally gilded and traces of the gold still remain. The features have been worn from age. Has a nice patina. Period: Han. 206BC - 220AD Size: Height = 7.5 cm

Rare and endearing figure of a young boy disciple of Quanyin (the Goddess of Compassion) wearing a garment etched with a lotus flower - the symbol of Buddhism. He is often depicted near Quanyin with his hands in reverential prayer. The bronze is heavily cast and has wires imbedded underneath the pedestal, perhaps for attaching to a group of figures. Six rare ancient glass beads from the Pyu era, three round glass beads and three crescent glass shaped beads. Size: Round ones: Diameter 2.6cm,3.2cm,2.5cm. Crescent ones: L. 3.5cm,3.5cm,4.5cm. Condition: Perfect. Some incrustation from long burial.Can be cleaned.

A very unusual Han stoneware bird with the remains of the multi colored glaze. Size: L. 12cm. H. 5.6cm.

A beautiful large Han court lady with original pigment, standing and dressed in full robe with long swaggered sleeves and wide train. The head and hands have slots for inserting ornaments.The head is removable. Size H. 66cm. W. 25cm. Condition: No repairs.

A nicely shaped glass ewer from ancient Rome. The piece was made with sheets of molten glass placed one on top of each other. This process was used at an early period in Rome. Age: First century. Bought at antique shop on Ponte Vecchio in Florence Italy 25 years ago. Size: H. 10.5cm W. 9cm
