A late 19th - early 20th century "Yun" lacquered betel box with incised design of two horses and riders, elephant and dancers. The box is divided into three pieces. An unusual stone weight with a young boy riding a foo dog. The corners each have little foo dogs playing with their ball. The base has a key fret design. This is a very special weight and unique in it's design. It is my understanding that these weights were used in making paper. Size: W. 31.5 x 23cm. H. 19cm.

A small Burmese Buddha made of silver. Its form is simple, unadorned and its hand is in the earth-touching gesture. The face has a wide nose with connected eyebrows and has a quiet presence.

A very unusual huanghuali scholar's container made of one solid piece of wood. There is no plug at the base. These types of designs are very desirable for collectors of huanghuali pieces. It probably had a lid. Age: 18th century. Size: H. 7cm. W. 11.7cm.

A bronze official's seal with the Chinese characters meaning "natural" and "pure." The top of the seal has a seated rabbit with its long ears folded behind its head. The rabbit is well-formed and proportioned down to the details of the toes on its paws.

A nicely carved brown jade fish in the Eastern Zhou style. The fish is symbolically employed as the emblem of wealth or abundance on account of the similarity in the pronunciation of the words "yu", fish, and "yu", superfluity. I date this piece to be early Han. Size: L.5.5cm. W.2cm. Condition: No repairs ,chips or cracks.
