Large rare Bronze statue of Quanyin (the Goddess of Mercy). She wears an ornate necklace and has a ball-like "Nyoi Jewel" in her right hand representing enlightenment . There is an image of Buddha beneath the veil on her head. In her left hand she is holding her ambrosia bottle (kalasa)representing "The Water of Compassion. She is sitting on a lotus base and at the back of the base is the stylized inscription of Xuande,1426 to 1435 AD. Size: H. 49cm. W. At the base 31cm. Condition: Nice Patina. ...

An unusual Burmese reddish gilded Buddha in the sitting position with a fancy head piece. Size: H. 12.8cm. Base.7.4cm. Condition: Nice patina. No repairs. A separation on one side of the base. See photos.

A standing bronze Burmese Buddha on a pedestal in the "Varada mudra" position. Size: H. 15.2cm. Base width. 6.3cm. Condition: No repairs. Some separation on the pedestal spokes.

A bronze figure of Buddha standing on a platform that flares outward at the bottom. Traces of gilding. Holding His robe on his left arm. The facial features are simple - almost primitiveness in nature but charmingly expressive. Period: 3rd Century Tibet Size: Height = 10.2 cm Condition: Protruding features have some wear. Has a nice patina which, under magnification, reveals that it had originally been lacquered and gilded.

A very rare early Ava Period Buddha with heavy silver alloy casting and remains of gold gilding setting with the right hand in the "bhumisparsa mudra" earth touching position. Very heavy for it's size. Comes with TL certificate. Size: H. 28cm. W.Base. 17cm. Condition: No repairs.

A seated bronze figure of Buddha in the earth-touching gesture. The Buddha sits on a platform with openwork scroll patterns. The face is round with facial features done in an free and unusual manner that give a tranquil, meditative expression.

Period: Burma 17th/18th Century

Size: Height = 11.8 cm, Diameter of base: 6.8 cm

Condition: Good. There is a tubular opening at the back of the platform perhaps for a canopy.
