This glass powder jar was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the late 19th century. It is 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches high. The hand blown glass is colored light blue. It is hand enameled with a lacy floral pattern on the lid. There are gilded panels on the top edge and bottom with colored enamel decoration. They are mounted with a gilded metal hinged frame. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain cat was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1950s. It is 5 inches high and 6 1/4 inches long. It is nicely modeled and hand painted. The cat almost looks like he is smiling. It is a cat with character and a great find for a cat collector. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain miniature tureen was produced in Hungary by Herend in 1976. It is a commemorative piece celebrating 150 years of production by Herend. It measures 5 1/4 inches across the handles and is 3 3/4 inches high. It is made of fine, hard paste porcelain. The piece is decorated with garlands of stylized corn flowers and foliage. There are blue ribbons and the finial on the lid is a lemon. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1920s. It is signed on the base by the artist, Himmelstoss. It is 7 1/4 inches high. The piece is styled in the art deco manner. The modeling is simple and the colors are subtle. From her dress and braids down her back, you can see she is a country girl. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain basket was produced in England in the mid 19th century. It is unmarked. It measures 8 1/4 inches long and 4 1/2 inches high. It is made of fine quality, white bone china. You would expect this quality from factories such as Minton, Worcester, Davenport, or Coalport. The handle and rim has decoration molded into the porcelain which is accented with gold. There is a hand painted scene of a sailing ship in rough seas. It is expertly portrayed. Condition: There are three tiny surface scratches in the painting. They are not very noticeable.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen. The D-J factory closed in 1984. It was a relatively small factory with limited production. The model number is 1032 which we believe was modeled before 1970. It is 4 3/4 inches high and 3 1/2 inches across the wings. This duckling is a spunky little guy. His modeling captures his lively personality. He is hand painted with shades of brown and beige giving him a soft appearance. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

This ceramic bowl was produced in France by Longwy in the late 19th century. It is not signed, but the workmanship and style of the bowl are characteristic of the Longwy factory. It measures 5 1/4 inches across the top and 3 1/4 inches high. The bowl is 3-lobed and stands on 3 little feet. The ground color is a deep cobalt blue. There are pink and blue carnations with foliage surrounding the entire bowl. All of the decoration is incised and colored with bright enamels. Condition: There is a small chip, about 1/8 of an inch, on the underside of the rim. It cannot be seen from the top. You have to feel under the rim

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1927. The marking indicates this year. The saucer has a diameter of 3 7/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is fine, white bone china. The ground color is bright yellow. There are white borders decorated with a factory transfer of stylized flowers and leaves. This decoration is accented with hand coloring. There is fine gold trim. The interior of the cup, well of the saucer, handle and rims of both pieces are heavily gilded. Condition: The saucer has one craze line underneath which does not go through to the other side. There are no other flaws.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Spode around 1800. The saucer is 5 5/8 inches in diameter and it is 1 1/2 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The cup has the London shape. The ground color is a soft pink. There are reserves inside the cup and around the saucer containing colorfully hand painted birds. They are reminiscent of bird decorations done by the Derby factory. They are encased in gilded cartouches. These alternate with segments of intricate gilding. Condition: There is slight wear to the gilding in the well of the saucer and traces of wear around the rim. This cup and saucer is in amazing condition for its age. Both pieces ring when tapped.

This three piece demitasse cup, saucer and plate was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1920. The plate has a diameter of 7 inches, the saucer is 4 1/4 inches, and the cup is 2 inches high. The cup has a split twig handle. All of the pieces have little pointed edges. It is decorated with tiny scattered flowers. They are brightly colored. All of the pieces are trimmed in gold. Condition: Excellent. This is first quality Meissen porcelain.

This crystal glass was produced in Bohemia in the late 19th century. We are not certain of the manufacturer but it is in the style of Lobmyer and Moser. The glass is 5 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 3 1/8 inches. The crystal is hand blown. It is decorated with brightly colored enamels. There is a beautiful lady in a ball gown on the front. Flowers and swirling ornaments decorate the sides and back. There are gilded accents within the decoration. The rims are trimmed with gold. The decoration on this glass is reminiscent of Dresden decorated porcelain. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Spode before 1825. It has the hand painted puce number 739 on both pieces. The set is in the “London” shape. The porcelain is very fine bone china. It is hand painted with sprays of brightly colored flowers. There is a cobalt blue border decorated with elaborate gold designs. The outside of the cup is also decorated with gold. Conditon: Excellent

This covered dish was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. It measures 4 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is finely pierced or reticulated. The handle and roses on the lid are applied. The dish is hand painted in brilliant colors and amply gilded. It would be used as a pot-pourri dispenser. It is a lovely accent piece of delicate quality. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain box was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1906. The marks on the bottom identify this date. The box measures 2 3/8 inches wide, 2 1/4 inches long and 1 1/4 inches deep. The porcelain is pure, white, bone china. The box is heart shaped with a little puffiness to the lid. The bottom half has a gadrooned edge around it. The box is decorated in the Imari pattern with tradition colors of cobalt blue, iron red, green and gold. It is done with very fine detail and is a charming little piece. Condition: Excellent

This miniature porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Helena Wolfsohn in the 1880s. The saucer is 3 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. The set is hand painted in the Meissen style. There are alternating panels of yellow with flowers and scenes of lovers in gardens. The set is trimmed with lacy gilding. This cup and saucer was a display piece or collector’s item. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and is 1 inch deep and the cup is 2 5/8 inches high. The porcelain is molded with a basket weave border and a swirl design in the body. The handle on the cup is in the shape of a branch. There are finely hand painted sprigs of flowers scattered around each piece. They are vibrant in color and realistic in their portrayal. There is lacy gilding at the rims of each piece. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Copeland between 1851 and 1885. The saucer is 4 3/4 inches square and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The set has molded decorations in the porcelain. It is made of fine, white bone china. The decoration is inspired by the Japanese Imari pattern. The colors, rust red, cobalt blue, peach and gold are vibrant. Intricate gilded designs accent both pieces. There is gold trim on the rims and handle. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain bowl was produced in France at a Limoges porcelain manufacturer in the late 19th century. We were unable to identify the marks. It is a factory decorated piece with both under glaze and over glaze markings. The bowl measures 10 inches in diameter and is 2 1/4 inches deep. It has a scalloped rim. There are colorful pink carnations suspended from the rim of the bowl into the center. Buds and foliage fill out the rest of the design. There are raised gold accents and a heavy gold border around the edge. The design is very similar to the art nouveau patterns used at Pickard.
