Description:

A celadon ewer or water dropper was intriguingly mold as chicken pot.
By cute-looking spout and simple-form wings, the porcelain pot was applied with glass-sheen glaze all over the surface.
On the unglazed bottom, the dense-feel clay was revealed and was with adhesives of burial earth.
Crackles and abrasions were resulted from incursions too.
It was kept in very fine condition...

Description:

A lovely bronze water basin was preserved in nice patina.
With an inscription Chen down underside, the basin was in adequate weight comparing with its size.
It was a typical scholar item in small size, whatsoever still owned the strong scholar taste.

Date: Qing dynasty, 18th/19th century.

Description:

An archaic bone Xi was from Warring States periods.
By enduring old patina, the ancient decorative piece was still in sound quality when old carving lines were revealed clearly.
It was also used as an instrument to loose the knotting rope.
An original hole was in the middle for fastening.

Description:
An iron kettle was in decent look.
In compressed form, the kettle was with limited decoration except on the surface of the cover. That made it in a simple and then casual mood.
Well preserved without any defects or restorations, the ewer was easy for use of pouring hot water for making tea.
Of course from the size, the quantity of water was ideally for two people over a chatting time.

Description:

A bronze censer's cap was well cast and was exquisitely carved with beautiful motifs.
On top there's a lion's head with bulging eyes, fiercing fangs and well defined hairs.
At the lower portion, the spiral clouds were above the sea waves.

Under the cap, the molding clay was still reserved for verifying.

It was a fine piece for verifying the excellency of the ancient metal work. The golden metal sheen was an evidence for its fine quality too...

In plain form without any decoration, the pommel was drilled holes at the narrowed end for fastening.
Incursion had caused the jade to a pale gray tint.

Description: An ivory brushrest was in a fine look.
Depicting the mountain view and a monk-like figure which were in characteristic simple form of early Qing periods, the ivory piece was well rendered by affluent carving skills.
The enduring old and warm patina was preserved on the surface when darken adhesives were kept in the crevices due to age.
It was kept in a perfect condition and was fitted with a later made wood stand.

Description: A green-glazed Cizhou bowl was exquisitely mold in a type of the famous Ding ware.
Thinly mold, the bowl was decorated in the cavetto with vibrant image of swans swimming in the lotus pond.

Description: A long neck yellow-glazed bottle vase was mold in elegant shape.
Decorated on the shoulder with lotus petals in vivid curves, the bottle was well proportioned and stand by a flat bottom.
Having been through thousands of years under earth, the surface was spread immensely with fine crackles and some stains.
The condition was very good with the least abrasions.

Description: An archaic jade tube or bead was excavated in a fine condition. By a light mustard-green tint, the jade piece was drilled from both sides by hand-made tool. That made the tunnel narrowed from the open mouth. Manually grinding scars were left obviously on the surface verifying its an ancient piece for sure.
