Beautifully carved Chinese Jadeite Pendant. Face has a pleasant slight grin with stylized horns laying flat to the long head in a sleek line. Has a gold fitting at end with loop to hang. Gorgeous color varies from each side. One side has lighter whitish color marbled with green. From the Republic Period Dimension: 2.75" Long X .25" in Width

Balinese Mask of a strong male or Panglembar Keras, used in the art form of the Topeng dance drama, which came about in the 15th century in Bali and Java. The Balinese version of Topeng would include many different character masks, some speaking and some non-speaking. The mask has real hair mounted on strips of leather for his eyebrows and mustache, with carved sideburns, lacquered face and eyes, and metal inlaid teeth. circa 1920s Size: 9.75" height, 6" width

Vintage Kazak hand-knoted wool rug with red and cream colored medallions on blue ground. The center is dominated by a striking blue and red design, the border complements the center with more light colors. Second half of the 20th century. It measures 84" by 68".

A Japanese 2 section Tansu chest called Isho-dansu made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. Original bronze hardware. Upper section features 2 sliding doors behind which is a shelf. The bottom section has 2 large full width drawers for additional storage. Originally used to store silk Kimono, its present day use as a daily dresser works well for the contemporary home.Age: Mid Century 1950-1960

Vibrant and delicate Japanese cloisonne censer with motif of flowers,grasses, and butterflies set in a medallion surrounded by a spiral pattern. Kosuke was born 1936 in Osaka, and graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts in 1956. His works have been featured in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, New York, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, and others...

Chinese blanc de chine porcelain statue of Quan Yin, the Buddhist bodhisattva associated with compassion. Her name is short for Guanshiyin, meaning "Observing the Cries of the World." She is seated upon a large wooden seat and wears a gorgeous cascading robe with strands of beads adorning her torso and legs. In her right hand she holds the branch of a willow tree. She is extremely detailed and beautiful. Dates from 19th century. Size: 10" hwight, 3" width

Beautiful study of orchids done with mineral colors and ink on paper. Artist's signature. 20th century. the image measures 18" wide by 26" tall. Overall the scroll measures 23" wide by 65.6" tall. It is mounted on a cream colored geometric print paper with flowers. It is sumie colors on white paper. Signature by Wong Chiu-Ye, circa 1986.
