This pair of porcelain vases was produced in France by Paul Blot, Maison Jacquel, at rue del la Pais, Paris. Both have hand painted signatures. They are 7 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 5 inches at the widest point. The porcelain is fine and translucent. The ground color is creamy beige. The vases are exquisitely hand painted. Cream cup, a pot de creme with molded borders and cherry knob, soft paste / pâte tendre, creamy white, made c 1780 in Tournai, then France and now Belgium. Decoration of under-glaze blue flowers in the Ronda pattern. Ronda was the most popular of the Tournai patterns, produced all through the 19th century till 1891 when the manufactory was closed down. Under-glaze blue mark, swords and three little crosses for the second and third Tournai period. Height "3 ¼ / 8 cm. Condition: fine.

A porcelain plate decorated with floral sprigs and bouquets with a shaped rim decorated with gilt dentil edge marked on the underside with a “B” in underglaze blue. 9 inch (23 cm) diameter. This short lived porcelain factory, roughly 1776-1781, had the Duc d’Orleans (cousin of the King Louis XVI) as its patron.

A stunning hand painted porcelain bowl with a gold trimmed scalloped rim was made by the Tressemann & Vogt company in Limoges, France between 1892-1907.
