Oval window in shaped surround with scrolls and flower heads at top, and leaves, stars, flowers, and heart cartouche vacant on stippled ground at bottom. The Jacob Petit factory at Fontainebleau produced these porcelain cornucopia vases Century 1840. The lavish cornucopias are mounted on rectangular bases decorated with rocaille and gilded swags and vines; the corners are finished with swans. The horn is molded, painted with flowers in reserve on each side. The rim is a rococo staple of undulating flourishes, decorated in gold in the upper interior. A fantastic set of hand painted fish plates, each plate having its own distinctive scene, made in Limoges, France. The plates date circa 1900. Each plate is gold enameled at the rim. A pair of lidded small pewter ewers or tankards, antique burettes once used in The Holy Mass. An engraved A to one lid and a V to the other, for Aqua (water) and Vinum (wine) respectively. A wonderful offering of a c1758 Vauxhall porcelain coffee can, very finely potted and painted in the highly sought after and uncommon "sticky blue". The scene is of two figures on a hill with a tree and a pagoda.
